I would like to invite you to attend an “unpanel” covering Technology’s Impact on Black Writers, which will be held during the Harlem Book Fair. Ron Kavanaugh, of Mosaic Literary Magazine, and I will be co-hosting.
An “unpanel” is a format where questions are posed and answered by attendees as opposed to a handful of panelists. As a result, the experiences of the attendees are as important as they would be for the panelists of a traditional panel.
Since everyone will have an opportunity to contribute to the discussion and ask questions, I hope more people will benefit from this format.
The unpanel will take place during the Harlem Book Fair on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture’s American Negro Theater on 135th Street and Lenox Ave in Harlem.
