There are several reasons that people choose not to be out with their lifestyle. Could be anything from how they were raised to public perception to privacy. Some folks do not want to be judged for how they choose to live. Especially with so many religious folks running around. We cannot rule out that possibility as asexual is included in LGBTQIA+. Either way, they are card carrying members of the alphabet soup community.

Right. In the literal sense, the US government does not run out of money. However, there are laws for everything in the US including how money is appropriated. Read up on appropriations law if/when you are not chasing that snatchbox.

ProfD Perhaps you're right, however in today's climate...why even keep that type of lifestyle under wraps? There's really not much of a benefit in doing so, especially if you're a Democrat. Since I know that's a rhetorical question, I won't waste your time or intelligence with an answer. But I sincerely thought that they were going to stay much longer. They aren't even TRYING to look sincere anymore. There is NO SUCH THING as the federal government "running out of money". It's a red herring. They're constantly printing up money, expanding their credit, extending the debt ceiling, re-appropriating funds, and taking funds out of one account and putting in another or using funds designed for one program or department and appropriating it to another. Leaders around the globe are LAUGHING at Americans for believing this garbage about the federal government being on a "budget" or "running out of money" because they KNOW better. Because THEY'RE getting billions. That's like you taking all of the money out of your right pocket...putting it in your left...and then pulling out the lining of your right pocket and claiming you're broke, lol. See how asinine that sounds? That's the SAME thing the government is doing.

Now ProfD, I respect you and your intelligence...however...... This is what Obama would call a "fundamental disagreement".....lol. We don't misunderstand eachother; both of our positions are crystal clear....we just DISAGREE.....lol. Unless that woman is his BIOLOGICAL MOTHER (and even then shit can happen!).....a man would be a FOOL if his half-way decent looking woman and his adolescent/adult son are living in the same home together and it NEVER crosses his mind that they may be having a sexual relationship behind his back. I'm sorry, there is no other way for me to reason or explain this besides it simply being common sense that any man should have. He should just naturally think about this possibility! Now if the son is a baby or even 8 or 9 year old, ofcourse my lady having some sort of relationship with my son would be one of the last things I'd suspect her of. However if that boy is 14 or 15 or older. Now wait a minute...... That doesn't mean a man should be laying up in bed every night looking up at the ceiling all night long twiddling his thumbs and wondering, or installing cameras and shit in the house trying to catch them in some sort of act. It simply means that there is a CHANCE that it can happen and he needs to keep his eyes and ears open and be aware of how they conduct themselves around eachother.

Detroit might have come up at some point after testing in DC, Chicago and Memphis. Sure. Folks are smart enough to chill out until the dust settles. No different from someone stomping out a cigarette or weed when authority figures show up. Not really. 30 days isn't long enough for permanent change. Folks will go back to business as usual. The real question is why can't the local police instill the same level of fear.

It is not my style here to call folks out. Of course, the government continues the most essential services. There are contingency funds for those things. However, if/when there is a lapse in appropriations (no money), used to fund a fiscal year, the government shuts down non-essential services. That's why national parks, museums, museums and other federal facilities will close during a shutdown. The money that goes into SNAP benefits is included in the appropriation. Without it, benefits cannot be paid. POTUS has to sign the budget (appropriations) every year by October 1st. If a budget or CR (Continuing Resolution) is not signed, there is a government shutdown. That is your Cliff Notes US Government lesson.

They weren't deployed in Michigan. My handful of relatives in the DMV said...as you...they were only deployed in the tourist areas of the city. I imagine the same is in Chicago and Memphis. My relatives in Chicago said they haven't seen them. What I think happened was the GANGSTAS....who aren't very politically aware and don't focus on the news much...heard Trump was sending the troops in and assumed they were going to slide through the hood like an avalanche with automatic weapons crushing everything in sight...so they ran up in the house and hid, lol. Well.... Whatever the hell their intention and strategy was, it made a lot of these fools get some ACT RIGHT. And just like announcing their deployment made some of these clowns put the gats away and go into hiding....announcing their departure will probably have the OPPOSITE effect.

Think Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King or Senators Lindsey Graham and Corey Booker. Mayor Bowser adopted a child a few years ago. There is a woman who has always been around her too. They don't broadcast her s8xuality. She doesn't either for the most part. Gotta read between the lines i.e. her moves.

ProfD Beyond appropriations law and all that stuff taught in US Government classes...it is definitely a game. When I was in highschool I was too busy chasing coochie (and wondering why it was so hard to catch up with) to pay attention in class...lol. So don't pull a richardmurray on me and bless me out for know knowing all of the intricate details about how the government actually works. However if the government is still funding the FBI and other policing agencies and those agencies are still operating, surveilling, and arresting people, then the government is NOT shut down....despite whatever the hell it's being "called". If the government is still giving out BILLIONS of dollars to other nations in foreign aid DURING the alleged shut down, there is no excuse not to pay air traffic controllers and SNAP beneficiaries...except if they were INTENTIONALLY being targeted and denied payment for whatever reason. If the government "shut down" for 40 days....how were the post offices able to operate? What about the armed forces? There is no such thing as a "government shut down". It's just a MEME used to distract the public. It's really INTENTIONAL NEGLECT of TARGETED institutions as a way of disrupting people's live to the point that they'll put pressure on their Representatives to cave to the demands of the opposition.

I already knew she never got married and I just did a quick search on her and it says nothing about her being LGBTQIA although she is a "supporter". It also mentions something about her kicking it with a brutha named "Jason Turner" back in the day. I know you have "femmes" who act just like docile little ladies, but she just doesn't give off any kind of lesbian vibe at all. I can actually see her being A-sexual, like a lot of professional sistaz. Just focused on her career and don't even think about a love life. But as fine as she is I'm sure she's had so many men hitting on her, so I am kinda curious as to why she hasn't settled on one openly.

The stunts were mainly done to satisfy racist white folks in rural America. ICE raids and National Guard troop deployment in major Black cities made white folks feel like law and order was being restored in their country. Funny thing is white folks living in Blue cities were not adversely affected by crimes there. Just like anywhere else in the USA, the victims and perpetrators of crime are usually of the same race. I find it amusing that folks can mind somebody else's business instead of cleaning up their own backyard. White folks living in red states have crystal meth drug addicts with teeth falling out and living on SNAP benefits. NO shortage of crime there. But, white folks are more worried about Black folks shooting each other in major cities.
