March Equinox 2025

March equinox at 5:01am E.S.T. or UTC-5 ; Venus mercury conjunction; 

The Beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere or Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.

The earth is always spinning around the sun, this provides the earth with energy. But, the sense of days or seasons come from the spin of the earth itself on an axis.

The days come from the earth's spin on its own axis, not the spin around the sun. 

But the seasons + change of length of night or day come from the tilt of the earth's axis which rotates constantly.

If you made a line between the center of the earth and the two north poles and then a line to the sun, during an equinox, either march or september, the angle from the sun to the earth to the north pole will be circa ninety degrees, and the angle from the sun to the center of the earth to the south pole will be like ninety. Ala why an equal night.

but during a solstice, the tilt of the earth's axis goes to one of two extremes.

At december solstice the angle, sun to earth center to north pole is obtuse, thus why the sun appears so low in the sky in the northern hemisphere as well as the longest night shortest day in the northern hemisphere, and why the angle , sun to earth center to south pole is acute, thus why the sun appears so high in the sky, ala longest day shortest night in the southern hemisphere. 

At the june solstice, the angle, sun to earth's center to north pole is acute, thus why the sun appears so high in the sky in the northern hemisphere as well as the longest day shortest night in the northern hemisphere, and why the angle, sun to earth to south pole is obtuse, thus why the sun appears so low in the sky ala longest night shortest day in the southern hemisphere.

Now with the March Equinox the tilt of the earth's axis will increase afterward to the june solstice, june 20th 2025. this is why from now to the june solstice in the northern hemisphere days continually get longer while in the southern hemisphere nights get continually longer. 

in between the march equinox and june solstice the aphelion will occur, July 3, 2025 3:54 pm ,what I call midyear. In the aphelion the earth is farthest from the sun. since the Perihelion, when the sun is largest in the sky,  the sun appears smaller and smaller in the sky. The average difference of distance between the perihelion and aphelion is three million miles. The earth is only seven thousand nine hundred and twenty six miles making a straight line through the equator to opposing surfaces of the earth.
