Chapter 1: The Beginning

0:00

0 seconds

Um, you know what I what I was thinking about? I wanted to kind of like, you know, how I kind of went over the history of Black Touch uh earlier.

0:09

9 seconds

So, I want to kind of do that for the people who aren't familiar with it. Um, yeah. And I've been, you know, this is

0:16

16 seconds

our seventh year. Black Touch started in 2019, uh, back when I was even more square

0:24

24 seconds

than I am now. Um, and essentially before before I started Black Touch, I was a photographer like a lot of people.

0:32

32 seconds

I was shooting content. I was shooting photos and I was mostly doing implied new photography or like artistically

0:39

39 seconds

leaning photography uh with black women um for maybe like four or five years before Black Touch started. And while I

0:47

47 seconds

was doing that, I was experimenting towards the end of 2018 and I did a photo shoot um a polyandry photo shoot. So um let me think.

1:00

1 minute

Polyandry photo shoots. Yeah, it was a basically it was a woman with two guys.

1:04

1 minute, 4 seconds

It was like they were all nude, but I shot it in a way that I could still post it on Instagram. So it just looked really good. But I also didn't think

1:12

1 minute, 12 seconds

much of it after we had wrapped that shoot and I edited the images. It was probably the most like sexually charged shoot I've ever done, but I didn't think like I said, I didn't think much of it.

1:23

1 minute, 23 seconds

And so we released it early 2019 and in a in a couple of days like the images were all over the internet. Um, they're

1:30

1 minute, 30 seconds

no longer on the website because now the website's all video, but the website really started off as a place to host uh

1:38

1 minute, 38 seconds

erotic photos that I was shooting. And they weren't even explicit to be honest.

1:42

1 minute, 42 seconds

They were like people were pretending to do things and and I was I was guiding them into their like positions and

1:51

1 minute, 51 seconds

woring about lighting. And the whole point of the project when it started was to sort of capture black intimacy through my own perspective.

2:00

2 minutes

And the evolution from being primarily a photobased

2:07

2 minutes, 7 seconds

project to doing this was essentially I was trying to like create reals. I mean Instagram at the time had

2:15

2 minutes, 15 seconds

just started doing video. So I was like, let me share my little project website [snorts] on Instagram by like creating

2:24

2 minutes, 24 seconds

like stories around the photo shoots that we did. And those uh videos got

2:32

2 minutes, 32 seconds

started to get more and more explicit and before I knew it, I was shooting I shot I had shot like an explicit video

2:40

2 minutes, 40 seconds

and this was like in 2019. I I uh if you guys all know Darling Nikki who actually works for Black Touch right now, she was

2:48

2 minutes, 48 seconds

the first person who I think I miscommunicated what the purpose of the shoot was. I you know she she [laughter] didn't quite know that I wasn't shooting

2:56

2 minutes, 56 seconds

porn and so her and her partner started actually Hey Dallas, welcome. Um

3:02

3 minutes, 2 seconds

she had what happened? Yeah, basically she and her partner started actually having sex and I was shocked to say the

3:11

3 minutes, 11 seconds

least, but I I I filmed the whole thing through. And so I literally sat on that

3:18

3 minutes, 18 seconds

photo shoot, that video shoot from like June of 2019 until the beginning of 2020

3:25

3 minutes, 25 seconds

when I decided this is this website is going to be explicit. I don't care what people think. D. Um, but I always wanted

3:33

3 minutes, 33 seconds

to like make sure that the work that the site projected was focused on our humanity, focus on storytelling because that's the thing that I'm interested in.

3:44

3 minutes, 44 seconds

Um, and yeah, it's kind of like an evolution from there. Like shot with more people, came up with more ideas,

3:52

3 minutes, 52 seconds

traveled all throughout the US. Um, and yeah, I think that kind of if you go back far enough, you'll kind of see the

3:59

3 minutes, 59 seconds

evolution of the quality, but also the evolution of this like the the storytelling and and what have you.

4:06

4 minutes, 6 seconds

That's kind of like at the heart of the project for me. So, that's kind of the beginning. That's kind of like how Black Chart started if you guys didn't know.

Chapter 2: Introductions

4:14

4 minutes, 14 seconds

So, I should I should also say this. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Brian Dwayne. I'm the creator I guess that's kind of obvious. I'm the creator of of

4:22

4 minutes, 22 seconds

Black Touch. Uh, basically I shot everything outside of the views content on the website. I shot everything on the

4:29

4 minutes, 29 seconds

website. Um, I edited and and I I also designed and and developed the website.

4:36

4 minutes, 36 seconds

Um, I think that's that's basically it.

4:39

4 minutes, 39 seconds

That's all people need to know about who I am. And uh, Velvet, could you introduce yourself?

4:46

4 minutes, 46 seconds

Yes, I am Velvet Len. Um, I have sweet rawsticky.com, which is basically I'm a sex educator.

4:57

4 minutes, 57 seconds

Um, and I was formerly Bearitall.

5:02

5 minutes, 2 seconds

I shot erotic photography um, for my books and had erotic art

5:10

5 minutes, 10 seconds

shows and then it turned into just Velvet Len and I've rebranded once again to Sweet Raw Sticky. And hopefully this

5:18

5 minutes, 18 seconds

is the last time. [laughter] I no longer shoot. Um, as of right now,

5:25

5 minutes, 25 seconds

it's possible to shoot again, but as of right now, I'm not shooting. And I work for Black Touch and yeah, so here I am.

5:35

5 minutes, 35 seconds

Okay, cool. One thing that she didn't mention that she would never mention is that she is uh part of partially the

5:42

5 minutes, 42 seconds

inspiration for me starting Black Touch to begin with. We met in 2016 um through a mutual friend and she was

5:50

5 minutes, 50 seconds

already shooting erotic content. Back then I was not even considering it. And so I was like, "So, how do you do that?

5:56

5 minutes, 56 seconds

How do you get people to how do you get people to shoot with you like that? Please tell me more." You know, and we developed a friendship

6:04

6 minutes, 4 seconds

since then and she's been by my side the entire process. um and and watch the evolution of all of this go from like an

6:11

6 minutes, 11 seconds

idea to a little WordPress website to what it is today. Um so um without further ado, I think I'd like to get started.

Chapter 3: How Do We Find Talent

6:21

6 minutes, 21 seconds

Um the first question is Mhm.

6:25

6 minutes, 25 seconds

where do you find the people for the scenes? Also, I need more scenes with big men.

6:32

6 minutes, 32 seconds

Okay. Uh where do we find people? Okay.

6:35

6 minutes, 35 seconds

Uh, so this has evolved over time and initially um I basically was just

6:42

6 minutes, 42 seconds

jumping in people's DMs and pitching my idea for what Black Touch was supposed to be and also showing them examples of

6:50

6 minutes, 50 seconds

the work that I was doing. [snorts] Um, and then, you know, some people would politely decline or not so politely decline, but you know, doing that more

6:58

6 minutes, 58 seconds

consistently sort of like built up um helped me build up a library of content and be consistent enough that I started

7:06

7 minutes, 6 seconds

to attract people. So, for the most part now, we are attracting our talent um that we work with. Uh let me think.

7:17

7 minutes, 17 seconds

Yeah, for the most part, we're attracting them. uh most of the people we worked with, we found them through uh them already publishing content on

7:25

7 minutes, 25 seconds

Twitter. Um and you know, they may reach out and then I'll send them a link for them to fill out a form and then we

7:32

7 minutes, 32 seconds

start a process where we discuss uh the potential for a scene. Um and if they don't have a partner, we try to like

7:40

7 minutes, 40 seconds

match them with people. But in general, it's a it's a it's kind of organic in that now because there's sort of a brand

7:48

7 minutes, 48 seconds

and a name for it, people are attracted to the to the project and so they'll reach out to us through our DMs on

7:54

7 minutes, 54 seconds

Twitter. Um, but if you guys have been around long enough, you probably would have remembered there was a point in time where there was a form on the

8:02

8 minutes, 2 seconds

website for anyone to fill out. And that didn't last very long because we just got a ton of submissions from people

8:10

8 minutes, 10 seconds

who, let's just say, aren't uh actively creating content and they're just interested in being on set or shooting.

8:20

8 minutes, 20 seconds

Um, and I have literally over a thousand submissions from different guys uh and a few few women. But the my biggest thing

8:29

8 minutes, 29 seconds

is that maybe I should get into this right now.

8:33

8 minutes, 33 seconds

We try to work with people who already have some history of shooting. I'm not out here finding people who have who aren't even considering it and asking

8:41

8 minutes, 41 seconds

them to. For one, they have to have a desire to do it. to um we would prefer that they were already active in to some

8:50

8 minutes, 50 seconds

degree um already actively in terms of like shooting and publishing and working with people so that we're we're not like

8:57

8 minutes, 57 seconds

breaking their popping their cherry or whatever it's called. Um and yeah, once those two things are settled, if it's a

9:06

9 minutes, 6 seconds

woman, it's usually easier to get started uh shooting. But if it's a guy, the challenge is that we uh tend to ask

9:14

9 minutes, 14 seconds

the women to first the women have like right of first refusal. So if a woman is not interested in a guy, uh it doesn't

9:22

9 minutes, 22 seconds

happen, right? Um I mean it's the same both ways actually. But what I what I mean to say is that um if the average

9:32

9 minutes, 32 seconds

guy doesn't have some experience or some content that they could sort of use to profile their work or what they can do

9:41

9 minutes, 41 seconds

uh and we present them to a woman that they're interested in working with or that we're interested in working with.

9:47

9 minutes, 47 seconds

If there's nothing for them to see, there usually isn't anything. It's usually not going to move forward.

9:53

9 minutes, 53 seconds

If you could just imagine being a woman interested in shooting with us and then we show you a guy that has absolutely no

10:00

10 minutes

no work, no content, no pictures, no nothing. He's just a guy off of social media. Uh yeah, that usually doesn't go

10:08

10 minutes, 8 seconds

too far. So when it's a guy, we usually want to work with guys who are already actively creating content um and

10:16

10 minutes, 16 seconds

hopefully have shot with other people before.

10:20

10 minutes, 20 seconds

I know this is a little bit of rambly, but I'm just going to close this out by saying a lot of people that we uh that are making content now and they're shooting themselves, and it's an

10:29

10 minutes, 29 seconds

entirely different ballgame. Um asking us to asking that person to now be in

10:36

10 minutes, 36 seconds

the room with at least two other people, cameras, lights, microphones. It's a different uh it's a different kettle of

10:44

10 minutes, 44 seconds

fish. So, um, usually we find out or we try not to find out if the guy can perform in front of the the crew,

10:53

10 minutes, 53 seconds

uh, without him having some reference of shooting with other people at some point. Hopefully that answered that question and more.

11:03

11 minutes, 3 seconds

Um, and then also just if I could add on to what Brian is saying and then previously shooting um, just on the

11:11

11 minutes, 11 seconds

photography side, it's also to make sure that you know they're serious and they're not coming in here thinking that they can just have sex with someone.

11:20

11 minutes, 20 seconds

[laughter]

11:20

11 minutes, 20 seconds

Yeah.

11:22

11 minutes, 22 seconds

And and call it a day. Um, you know, so that's also a part of it. Um, so we want

11:28

11 minutes, 28 seconds

to make sure uh like he said they have some type of experience and that shows that you know being in the sex work industry um that they are more serious.

11:42

11 minutes, 42 seconds

Definitely that. But there was a prior question that did not answer the one about more fluffy men or big men.

11:50

11 minutes, 50 seconds

Uh I have absolutely no problem with shooting bigger guys. In fact, I have no problem with shooting anybody. The

11:57

11 minutes, 57 seconds

problem is the challenge is I shouldn't say problem. The challenge is um like

12:04

12 minutes, 4 seconds

potential people. Uh so I work with the people who are interested in working with us and that's gets narrower if you

12:13

12 minutes, 13 seconds

think about it. Like if I if I uh were to expressly look for a guy that is one

12:20

12 minutes, 20 seconds

active in the industry, two knows how to perform in front of a crew, and three is also a bigger guy. Uh that narrows

12:29

12 minutes, 29 seconds

things down so much that I basically am looking for a unicorn. [laughter] I have to sort of be flexible in the

12:37

12 minutes, 37 seconds

casting and the ideas. Um, and um, I would definitely love to work with a a bigger guy. I'd love to work with more

12:45

12 minutes, 45 seconds

mature women. I'd love to work with bigger women. There's al all these things have to align. And um, I don't go

12:53

12 minutes, 53 seconds

like, you know, how you would think about casting in uh, mainstream television and stuff like that. We don't

13:00

13 minutes

quite do casting that way. We kind of work backwards. So, we find the people who are interested in working with us and also working together and then I

13:08

13 minutes, 8 seconds

build a story around them and there just hasn't been a lot of bigger guys that that fall into that category.

Chapter 4: Who Writes the Scripts

13:16

13 minutes, 16 seconds

Um, okay. The next question is who writes the scripts and will slash can they incorporate more sensual dialogue?

13:26

13 minutes, 26 seconds

Um, just like the website and the videography and the other stuff, I'm the one. Well, there's most of the

13:35

13 minutes, 35 seconds

time there aren't scripts. Most of the time there's an idea, a concept, and I'm on set and I have a sort of like an idea

13:45

13 minutes, 45 seconds

about what it is that we're going to be capturing, what the characters, who the characters are, what their motivation is, what the conflict is, all that

13:53

13 minutes, 53 seconds

stuff. Um, the reason why I don't write scripts, um, or why there usually aren't scripts, because sometimes there are.

14:01

14 minutes, 1 second

The reason why there usually aren't scripts is because we're not usually working with actors. Um, most of the time the people we're working with, they

14:08

14 minutes, 8 seconds

don't have the time or maybe even the interest to sit down and memorize their lines and understand the motivation. All

14:17

14 minutes, 17 seconds

of that sort of has to kind of come together in the moment when we're all on set. So the way a script is written is it's a it's a living concept in my head.

14:27

14 minutes, 27 seconds

Um once I'm on set, uh I essentially start seeing the shots and thinking

14:34

14 minutes, 34 seconds

about the interactions and then thinking about how all of that should come together in the edit. Um so there the

14:42

14 minutes, 42 seconds

answer is I write the scripts if there are scripts. And the only time there really are scripts is when the story is complex enough that things need to be

14:50

14 minutes, 50 seconds

said at certain times or else you sort of like lose track of what's happening.

14:55

14 minutes, 55 seconds

But most of the time the stories are simple enough that I could keep it kind of in my head and walk people through their behavior and their acts and stuff

15:03

15 minutes, 3 seconds

like that. Um sensual there was a question about like at the end of it like could it include more sensual

15:10

15 minutes, 10 seconds

dialogue? [snorts] Uh yes it can but I could write central dialogue all day.

15:18

15 minutes, 18 seconds

It's how people perform it that is challenging. Right. So asking the average person in the moment.

15:26

15 minutes, 26 seconds

Yeah. Asking asking a person to start being sensual and and what have you.

15:31

15 minutes, 31 seconds

Again since these aren't actors by the time they are uh on set they a lot of

15:38

15 minutes, 38 seconds

people get nervous. Um, a lot of times when they're supposed to si be serious, they're laughing. Uh, so what I end up

15:46

15 minutes, 46 seconds

doing is crafting the idea of their character around their personality so they're not like having to truly become

15:54

15 minutes, 54 seconds

somebody else because that's a lot to ask people to do well. [snorts] Um, so the reason why there isn't a lot of sensual dialogue is because

16:03

16 minutes, 3 seconds

that is something that would have to be like to do it well, you generally have to like practice it and we don't usually

16:11

16 minutes, 11 seconds

have time to practice. Most of the time a scene is shot or at least the story part of the scene is shot in like two hours. And that's like from,

16:20

16 minutes, 20 seconds

you know, every everything is sort of like uh still in my head, but I'm I'm chopping it up and I'm trying to like

16:27

16 minutes, 27 seconds

make things happen all in two hours so that we can get to the actual intimacy and and shoot that well. So, um, yeah,

16:37

16 minutes, 37 seconds

that's why there aren't that much there isn't that much nuance dialogue in the scenes. It's it's a lot to ask somebody to like become somebody else and do it

16:46

16 minutes, 46 seconds

well if they've never even considered doing it before.

Chapter 5: Shooting Prior Talent

16:50

16 minutes, 50 seconds

The next question is is it possible to have the talents such as the fun sexual gym and juicy thick

16:59

16 minutes, 59 seconds

who either contributed only one scene or pleasure portrait in the past to contribute more scenes in the future.

17:07

17 minutes, 7 seconds

Um it is always possible if that person is still actively making content. And so it's interesting that they mentioned um

17:16

17 minutes, 16 seconds

the fun sexual. So, she's wasn't really like a content creator when uh we shot her solo. Um, in fact, she was shooting

17:24

17 minutes, 24 seconds

that solo because she was literally like within that week about to get a breast reduction and she's also like in the

17:33

17 minutes, 33 seconds

lifestyle. So, she's open to doing like she was open to shooting the content, but you can't like go and find her and only fans or many vids or she doesn't

17:42

17 minutes, 42 seconds

like promote sex her herself in content if that makes sense. So sometimes people

17:49

17 minutes, 49 seconds

are working with us and they're doing it um for the first time

17:56

17 minutes, 56 seconds

um for the most part that you know like if if they're working with us and they're doing it and they're trying something out is not to say that they've made their mind up to like pro like continue to be content creators forever.

18:08

18 minutes, 8 seconds

And a lot of people, they may be at the height or at the tail of their career in in content creation. And a lot of people

18:17

18 minutes, 17 seconds

come and go like really fast. Like you you might I might there I could throw a dart at a list of the people we've shot

18:24

18 minutes, 24 seconds

and there's a good chance I'm shoot I will hit somebody who no longer makes content and that's all fine, but um

18:32

18 minutes, 32 seconds

having people come back is a confluence of a few things. So I think Juicy Thick was mentioned. She's lives in Florida.

18:43

18 minutes, 43 seconds

She came out here and it was just by chance that we were shooting here Atlanta. In Atlanta, she came out to Atlanta and it was just

18:51

18 minutes, 51 seconds

by chance we were shooting um a set of shoots in that weekend and it just lined up.

18:57

18 minutes, 57 seconds

Now for her to come back out here, it'd be like a whole discussion we'd have to have and you know, we'd have to sort out all these like smaller details. But I'm

19:05

19 minutes, 5 seconds

always open to working with people as long as they don't become like publicly toxic or something since we shot them because that's happened before. Um I

19:14

19 minutes, 14 seconds

don't mind working with people over and over again. In fact, that stability is like the lifeblood of Black Touch. Like working with people who get it and

19:22

19 minutes, 22 seconds

respect us and our time. Um yeah, I would love to do that, but it's always has to align. It's an alignment thing.

Chapter 6: BlkTouch Events

19:32

19 minutes, 32 seconds

Uh, speaking of location, um, the last question about the more sensual,

19:40

19 minutes, 40 seconds

um, came from Brat 30 from Louisiana. Shout out to Louisiana, my second home.

19:49

19 minutes, 49 seconds

Um, the first question was out of Houston. And then the question that you

19:58

19 minutes, 58 seconds

just answered was New York. Hey, I'm from Brooklyn if y'all don't know. I'm I'm Jamaican but born and raised in Brooklyn. Yeah.

20:07

20 minutes, 7 seconds

And then that was Jonathan. Okay. And let's see the next question.

20:15

20 minutes, 15 seconds

Would you ever hold an intimacy class here in Atlanta?

20:20

20 minutes, 20 seconds

And that is from Montreal here in Atlanta.

20:24

20 minutes, 24 seconds

Uh hell yeah. And I've got the perfect person to run it. Actually, [laughter] Velvet, if you don't mind discussing

20:32

20 minutes, 32 seconds

that, so since I've been running my mouth all for the last 12 minutes.

20:35

20 minutes, 35 seconds

[laughter]

20:38

20 minutes, 38 seconds

Yes. So, I will be holding in addition to intimacy classes or anything

20:45

20 minutes, 45 seconds

surrounding intimacy, um I will hold classes, workshops. Um, I also,

20:52

20 minutes, 52 seconds

um, have experiences, uh, and when I say experience, the last one that I had was a five course meal,

21:01

21 minutes, 1 second

um, that was infused with aphrodisiacs that was here in Atlanta.

21:06

21 minutes, 6 seconds

Um, it was great and that was more intimate. So, I no longer hold the

21:13

21 minutes, 13 seconds

larger um, events, 200 plus people. Um so the ones that are more intimate are

21:21

21 minutes, 21 seconds

going to be the experiences and workshops. Um sometimes I will collab with other creators, other educators

21:28

21 minutes, 28 seconds

and yeah and this also comes at a great time to ask because uh Blacktouch and Sweet Raw Sticky has partnered together.

21:40

21 minutes, 40 seconds

So, within the partnership, um, Blacktouch will gain access, um, to

21:48

21 minutes, 48 seconds

once you sign up for my newsletter as well, be able to hear first about the workshops and experiences and classes.

21:57

21 minutes, 57 seconds

Um, you will also receive a discount.

21:59

21 minutes, 59 seconds

Some of that is based off if you are a member. Um, so you have subscribers which are subscribed to Brian's Black

22:08

22 minutes, 8 seconds

Touch newsletter, the mailing list, and then you have the members, which are is the paid memberships to be able to see

22:15

22 minutes, 15 seconds

everything uh Blacktouch. And so all of those details would be provided, but to answer the question simply, yes.

22:24

22 minutes, 24 seconds

Cool. Cool. Yeah. Yeah. uh you know, we we don't send out a ton of newsletter or

22:31

22 minutes, 31 seconds

emails, but when they come um if they're not this the presscheduled scene stuff, we're going to be start we're going to

22:38

22 minutes, 38 seconds

start to um have more and more outside of just content distribution um being

22:46

22 minutes, 46 seconds

promoted and we'll probably get into that a little bit later.

Chapter 7: Shooting BBWs

22:49

22 minutes, 49 seconds

The next question is, "Why aren't more black BBW women used in videos?" Um, out

22:58

22 minutes, 58 seconds

of Michigan, uh, why aren't more kind of the along I would say the along

23:05

23 minutes, 5 seconds

the same lines as what you answered about the bigger men.

23:09

23 minutes, 9 seconds

But it's it's interesting because I I don't know. I think I found I I've shot a good a plenty amount of like BBW

23:18

23 minutes, 18 seconds

or bigger women. It's just that I don't to to me it's always been interesting like uh people's perception of what a

23:26

23 minutes, 26 seconds

big girl is is that like it moves. So, I could name maybe like five scenes right now that I consider these people to be

23:35

23 minutes, 35 seconds

sort of like a bigger girl, but I can't say if that's what that person perceives as a big woman, right? Um,

23:44

23 minutes, 44 seconds

and it it isn't a a hesitancy on my end to do it. It is not like a a disinterest. It's more of again

23:53

23 minutes, 53 seconds

availability and alignment. there's uh of the creators that we have shot

24:00

24 minutes

which which who who call themselves BBW or big I I don't really like using uh

24:08

24 minutes, 8 seconds

this is also why like the scenes don't have these weird names like oh black blah blah blah I don't I don't like using labels u for people especially

24:16

24 minutes, 16 seconds

when it comes to content but for women that would consider themselves to be bigger and you know like filling that part of the niche or the genre

24:25

24 minutes, 25 seconds

Um, I've shot plenty of women that way, but that that who who fill that space.

24:30

24 minutes, 30 seconds

But again, that's not to say that other people will take them take consider them to be big girls. And so, I'm not holding

24:39

24 minutes, 39 seconds

back. I don't have any issue with it. In fact, I would love to shoot more. It's just um it's just a chance. It's just an alignment.

24:49

24 minutes, 49 seconds

Yes. And then to your point for as far as the sizes, you know, sometimes it it's separated. You have the plus-size,

24:57

24 minutes, 57 seconds

the BBW, and then sometimes they put it all together. So, like you said, I think it is um subjective and you have shot with

25:06

25 minutes, 6 seconds

plenty and maybe they just didn't run across those. So, you can always go back into the library and check for it. We

25:14

25 minutes, 14 seconds

are working. I know a few of you have asked, [laughter] we are We are working on the tags and

25:22

25 minutes, 22 seconds

while we may not prefer labels, some of the tags will be labeled in that way.

25:29

25 minutes, 29 seconds

And then I'm guessing, correct me if I'm wrong too, Brian, it may also be based on if that person is okay being labeled in that way.

25:36

25 minutes, 36 seconds

Being labeled that way correctly. Yes.

25:38

25 minutes, 38 seconds

Um, yeah, that that that that does matter.

25:43

25 minutes, 43 seconds

the the website has 170 something scenes.

25:48

25 minutes, 48 seconds

Uh to say that we don't shoot them at all or we don't shoot a certain thing or we've never shot this is actually hard for you to know unless you like sat and

25:55

25 minutes, 55 seconds

watched through all of them. The only reason I know is cuz I shot all of it. I I mean I wouldn't expect anybody else to know as much about all of this as I do.

26:03

26 minutes, 3 seconds

Um which is actually a challenge for uh that I'm going to be trying to work on.

26:09

26 minutes, 9 seconds

I think um I'll discuss it a bit later, but I love the fact of like getting all of what is on the website out of my head

26:18

26 minutes, 18 seconds

and like in front of everybody to to use to search and and and find the things they're looking for.

26:25

26 minutes, 25 seconds

Um I will say too, um and maybe I'm jumping a little bit forward, but with the Black Views, hopefully you guys have checked it out. Black Views.

26:35

26 minutes, 35 seconds

Um, it is in the menu on the top bar and on the side as well. Um,

26:42

26 minutes, 42 seconds

because it's new, you can start labeling it.

26:46

26 minutes, 46 seconds

So, but going back to all of those scenes, it's it's a different That's a lot.

26:52

26 minutes, 52 seconds

So, that's why it's not like, okay, we'll do it. It is a process.

26:57

26 minutes, 57 seconds

Yeah. I I didn't start off shooting and um tagging and labeling things. I was just creating and before I know it I'm

27:05

27 minutes, 5 seconds

I'm rounding up to like 200 scenes and um in general we can probably go and

27:12

27 minutes, 12 seconds

categorize things relatively easy. So category meaning you know a heterosexual lesbian maybe threesome D. We could do

27:20

27 minutes, 20 seconds

that generally pretty easily. But then the tags are when you're getting into like specifics about what's going on

27:28

27 minutes, 28 seconds

inside of the scene and that takes a bit more uh time to like pull up.

27:35

27 minutes, 35 seconds

But even when you talk about like I think you and I had a conversation surrounding anal and when I was looking

27:42

27 minutes, 42 seconds

at it and I was like I don't see that here. And so that you know it [laughter]

27:50

27 minutes, 50 seconds

and it's wild because I know everything that I've shot. So like if somebody was like you don't do this or it's not there. I'm like yeah and I'm I'm like a nerd.

27:57

27 minutes, 57 seconds

I see the one like that you tagged in black views as like because it was a different way of viewing it.

28:05

28 minutes, 5 seconds

Gotcha.

28:06

28 minutes, 6 seconds

So I'm I'm thinking anal sex but it is just like play.

28:09

28 minutes, 9 seconds

Play. Yes. And but it's it was something still missing to me that was there. So,

28:16

28 minutes, 16 seconds

I don't know. But that's another thing just really trying to get it so that you guys also when when you search, are we

28:24

28 minutes, 24 seconds

putting the right words that you search that you would search for?

28:28

28 minutes, 28 seconds

We do hear you guys when you are um uh you know mentioning something in the

28:36

28 minutes, 36 seconds

chat. We've done beta tests and we've been able to implement some things fast and some things faster than others and some things just not yet.

28:46

28 minutes, 46 seconds

But we just want you to know that we do absolutely hear you guys and we are constantly working. Trust me. Yeah.

28:53

28 minutes, 53 seconds

Especially Brian like [laughter] Yeah.

28:57

28 minutes, 57 seconds

He built the whole website and continues to enhance it. Yeah.

29:02

29 minutes, 2 seconds

So I'll talk about that a bit later if we if we have time. Uh, will you guys make an OF or Fansley?

Chapter 8: OnlyFans

29:12

29 minutes, 12 seconds

That's from Nick. An only fans or a Fansley account?

29:18

29 minutes, 18 seconds

I guess something. Oh, is that what they're asking? The account or something like that? Well, yeah. A profile on those websites.

29:26

29 minutes, 26 seconds

Yeah. No, that's how you took it. I took it as are we going to create something like it?

29:33

29 minutes, 33 seconds

Oh, well, I can answer both of those questions. Okay. [laughter] One, Black Touches does not post content

29:40

29 minutes, 40 seconds

out. So, in a lot of our um in a lot of our scenes, the people who we work with, they get access to the content to

29:48

29 minutes, 48 seconds

publish on their own and on whatever platform they see fit, which is part of the agreement that we have. Uh for that

29:55

29 minutes, 55 seconds

reason, I um I don't want to like conflict with having the same content on

30:02

30 minutes, 2 seconds

multiple sites. Um, the only thing I'm concerned about personally is growing this brand, growing this website. Um,

30:11

30 minutes, 11 seconds

and not really driving traffic through Only Fans and and all the other stuff, you know. Uh,

30:19

30 minutes, 19 seconds

I spent a lot of time can tell you, I spent a lot of time building this website, designing it, tweaking it. I

30:27

30 minutes, 27 seconds

literally taught myself JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and all this other stuff. In the span of two years, I sat

30:33

30 minutes, 33 seconds

and I built it up. I don't I'm I spent that time to try to make it so that the website is first usable, something I can

30:41

30 minutes, 41 seconds

be proud of, something that is um has a great like gives a great experience to the user and also frames the work

30:50

30 minutes, 50 seconds

properly, right? Because, you know, not to knock only fans, but it's made for everybody. And this isn't really for

30:56

30 minutes, 56 seconds

everybody. This is for us. And the I kind of um I kind of think about it in

31:04

31 minutes, 4 seconds

akin to if you went to a museum, you'd want, you know, and and and all the artwork that you're seeing on the wall

31:12

31 minutes, 12 seconds

is placed up and you might sit and watch it for a little bit and move on to the next thing and maybe have some discussion around a particular thing.

31:21

31 minutes, 21 seconds

But like Only Fans feels more like a conveyor belt. Like it's not designed for conversation. and it's designed for

31:29

31 minutes, 29 seconds

pro like a ton of content coming at you at the same time. And um for that reason, I I I don't mind the content

31:37

31 minutes, 37 seconds

showing up on those platforms when it's uh being posted by uh the the people we collaborate with. But I I don't have any

31:46

31 minutes, 46 seconds

interest in publishing our content anywhere else. So that's one.

31:50

31 minutes, 50 seconds

whether or not we will build an only fans or a fansly. Uh no, we will not do

31:56

31 minutes, 56 seconds

it in the way that you see um the way that those platforms work. We definitely am not interested in doing that. Um

32:05

32 minutes, 5 seconds

primarily because whoever has the actual merchant account is being held liable for what people are

32:14

32 minutes, 14 seconds

posting. So if I were to strike up a merchant account with a credit card processor and then I start allowing

32:22

32 minutes, 22 seconds

people to come in and publish and you know I have to then have work like a broker or escrow of the money collected on their behalf and then distribute it

32:31

32 minutes, 31 seconds

to them. There's just too many moving parts and um that's just not uh that's

32:37

32 minutes, 37 seconds

not why I got into this. Uh, so my the only thing that I I can say is that the black views portion of the

32:46

32 minutes, 46 seconds

website is the closest thing where we where we can essentially acquire content directly from people and then publish it

32:55

32 minutes, 55 seconds

and and allow uh for the audience to discover new creators and uh whatever it is that they have to offer. That's like

33:03

33 minutes, 3 seconds

the closest thing that I'm willing to do. And for everything that's published on Black Views, I'm personally

33:11

33 minutes, 11 seconds

like watching it and making sure that the things are like we're not no laws are being violated and that I won't upset my credit card processor and stuff

33:19

33 minutes, 19 seconds

like that. That's not something you can do at scale. Um, not well at least. So that's why uh the answer to both of

33:27

33 minutes, 27 seconds

those is no. And what does it take to make it to your set? Because I would love to join your cast crew.

Chapter 9: How to Join the Cast and Crew

33:34

33 minutes, 34 seconds

Cast Crow. So those are two different things to make it to the set as cast. I think I discussed that like you know it

33:42

33 minutes, 42 seconds

it basically would have it would be good if they if you know I've had this conversation a lot like people call

33:49

33 minutes, 49 seconds

the actual phone number for the website and I and it's a lot of young guys and they're like hey man how do I get started? How do I how can I get on your

33:57

33 minutes, 57 seconds

set? Um and I usually tell them if they're not actively making content then they're probably not going to end up on

34:03

34 minutes, 3 seconds

the set. So, as cast, if you're a guy, uh, I would say start to make content,

34:11

34 minutes, 11 seconds

you know, in a a um, what is it called? The word is on the tip of my tongue. Ethical way. Start

34:20

34 minutes, 20 seconds

to make content in an ethical way where you and your scene partner are creating on a more or less consistent basis. And then there's something to discuss.

34:30

34 minutes, 30 seconds

There's something to show your scene partner for a black touch scene, right?

34:34

34 minutes, 34 seconds

So that's one. Um uh but as crew, there's there's only like two people in

34:43

34 minutes, 43 seconds

the crew. It's me. [laughter] It's it's me and my lady. I don't I mean this this may be a shock to people, but we don't

34:50

34 minutes, 50 seconds

this the crew is not big. It's me and this little lady right here. I'm going to actually ask her to join if she's Let me see. ain't she?

34:58

34 minutes, 58 seconds

Wow. Hey. Hey.

35:02

35 minutes, 2 seconds

So, we we just everybody, this is Makita, my lady. She's also uh the second camera and uh the camera the the

35:10

35 minutes, 10 seconds

the assistant and the person who tells me when the bras are have a a twisted

35:17

35 minutes, 17 seconds

strap on them. uh and person who keeps me from keep me from exploding when I'm when I'm

35:25

35 minutes, 25 seconds

uh on the edge. Um yeah, everybody here she is. Um but we were just asked a question about who how can they join?

35:33

35 minutes, 33 seconds

Somebody asked how could they join the cast of the crew. Uh in regards to the cast, I said, you know, there that

35:41

35 minutes, 41 seconds

that's more of a process than than anything else. But in terms of the crew, there's just us two. And this is the

35:48

35 minutes, 48 seconds

thing that I don't think uh is, you know, comes through in in the in the work is [snorts] that it's just us

35:56

35 minutes, 56 seconds

working super hard on set, managing uh emotions, man, like uh you know, trying

36:04

36 minutes, 4 seconds

to get people to show up on time and then uh trying to salvage feel comfortable, making like a

36:13

36 minutes, 13 seconds

comfortable space for people to like actually have sex and and experience pleasure. Um but yeah, it's just it's

36:20

36 minutes, 20 seconds

just us two and we're not looking to to join to add people primarily because um the

36:30

36 minutes, 30 seconds

the challenge is this like if the the more people who are in the space, the more pressure people feel uh especially the guys. And so it's already enough

36:38

36 minutes, 38 seconds

with the two of us in in in the mix. uh if you add a third and a fourth, it

36:44

36 minutes, 44 seconds

starts to like build on top of the the sort of pressure um around performing whether it's acting or doing that sex

36:54

36 minutes, 54 seconds

scene. So, we try to keep things as simple and streamlined as possible.

Chapter 10: Working with NMature Talent

36:58

36 minutes, 58 seconds

Is are there any videos with older adults that's from sincere out of Texas?

37:06

37 minutes, 6 seconds

Yeah. And that and older is relative because somebody in their 20s, someone in their 40s is older, right? Um I I

37:15

37 minutes, 15 seconds

don't want to put people on blast, but I think like the oldest person I've worked with was in their mid50s,

37:22

37 minutes, 22 seconds

but it's not because I uh am against working with older people.

37:28

37 minutes, 28 seconds

In fact, I prefer because I think that our audience skues to more mature um folks. It's just the availability of

37:35

37 minutes, 35 seconds

people who are willing to do that to do the work, right? Who are in that age bracket. And so if you see that we're

37:43

37 minutes, 43 seconds

tending to work with people in their like late 20s or early 30s a bit more, it's really because those are the people

37:51

37 minutes, 51 seconds

who are actively making content and who are accessible and um follow through. I mean, it's a it's a big part of of this

38:00

38 minutes

of this game is especially the way that we're going about doing it. It's like I think on the on the West Coast inside of

38:08

38 minutes, 8 seconds

mainstream spaces, everybody has an agent. I just have to make a call. I'd like so and so on set at this time and we'll let her know who she's having sex with. You know, I don't work like that.

38:18

38 minutes, 18 seconds

I want everybody to be excited, energized, um passionate about what we're about to do. And uh in order for

38:26

38 minutes, 26 seconds

that to happen, sometimes it's a it's a game of aligning people. Um and for that reason, you're going to see less of a

38:35

38 minutes, 35 seconds

certain type of people because the alignment is not that uh easy to do.

Chapter 11: Our Inspiration And AI

38:42

38 minutes, 42 seconds

Okay, the next one I do like um it says, "Black touch has a signature standout in the presentation that we all have come

38:51

38 minutes, 51 seconds

to know and love. While certainly a studio that delivers adult entertainment for us by us and not whitewashed, you

38:59

38 minutes, 59 seconds

all uniquely deliver quality videography, creative, concise story lines, and intense scenes that are

39:06

39 minutes, 6 seconds

climatic, yet still leave us wanting more in the next episode. Your flare for exploring certain kinks that are often

39:14

39 minutes, 14 seconds

not shown in black adult cinema while keeping the productions class is one of a kind. So I ask, what was your original

39:23

39 minutes, 23 seconds

inspiration and vision for the black touch of art when you started?

39:28

39 minutes, 28 seconds

Um, yeah, the original inspiration was to create um

39:36

39 minutes, 36 seconds

and thank you for all Sorry. Thanks for that positive feedback. I apologize. I went right into answering mode, but I do appreciate that

39:44

39 minutes, 44 seconds

because I don't think I I I also don't get to hear people and how they feel about the project too often. So, when I

39:52

39 minutes, 52 seconds

do hear it, I very much do appreciate it. So, thank you. Um, but in regards to like the original inspiration for this,

40:00

40 minutes

it, you know, I I may say this a bunch in different ways, but essentially it was just to show our humanity alongside

40:08

40 minutes, 8 seconds

the erotica and not make content that's just uh for spectacle sake. There's a

40:16

40 minutes, 16 seconds

lot of that. And I think um I used to use this as an example like you could if

40:23

40 minutes, 23 seconds

you were to eat candy cane or like you know if you guys know like like sugar cane I shouldn't say candy cane sugar cane

40:31

40 minutes, 31 seconds

all the day all the time every day you you generally are going to be okay right you're just like chewing on it and you're sucking out the the sweet juices

40:38

40 minutes, 38 seconds

from the from the sugar cane. If you even take the cocoa leaf, the the the same plant that makes you can make

40:46

40 minutes, 46 seconds

cocaine from and make tea from it, you might get a little high, but you'll be fine. You know what I'm saying? The problem is when you take that stuff and

40:53

40 minutes, 53 seconds

you distill it down to just what stimulates you, right? So, if you take that cocoa plant and you

41:01

41 minutes, 1 second

refine it a thousand times, now you're feeding that straight to your brain and it would you would never evolve to process that. And the same thing with

41:09

41 minutes, 9 seconds

sugar. You know, you could take brown sugar and turn it into white sugar and and increase its potency, but the body's

41:16

41 minutes, 16 seconds

not made to process that. Like, we didn't evolve to process that. And I feel the same way about erotic content.

41:23

41 minutes, 23 seconds

There, you know, it's good to have the sweeter stuff, but we know what is closer to natural. We know what it feels like to actually have an intimate moment

41:32

41 minutes, 32 seconds

with someone. And our entire goal is to not just uh tell stories but also try to

41:40

41 minutes, 40 seconds

foster a space where we can see that intimacy unfolding. And it may not be

41:46

41 minutes, 46 seconds

fireworks blowing off in your brain and super intense all the time because I really don't tell people what to do. But

41:54

41 minutes, 54 seconds

we're always striving for genuine. And if if the these two people or three people's genuine looks intense and

42:02

42 minutes, 2 seconds

hardcore, that's 100% okay. But if these people just want to kiss and touch and slow stroke and neck choke and back

42:10

42 minutes, 10 seconds

shots and all that other stuff that kind of like feel like a natural progression to sex, that's also okay. We we want to

42:17

42 minutes, 17 seconds

be able to present this in this range of uh of experience, if that makes sense.

42:23

42 minutes, 23 seconds

Um what was the question? Oh. [laughter] Oh, the inspiration. It was like the

42:30

42 minutes, 30 seconds

inspiration. Yeah. I just I think too I didn't start this off like I said at the beginning of this, I didn't start this

42:36

42 minutes, 36 seconds

off trying to um create porn. Um, and so what I what it evolved from was just a a

42:45

42 minutes, 45 seconds

a desire to show content um to show us in a in a more human humane way where we

42:52

42 minutes, 52 seconds

take into account our humanity um and hopefully that comes across in the work.

42:58

42 minutes, 58 seconds

But there is a second part to that question as well. Um, and with the online sphere and digital world changing

43:06

43 minutes, 6 seconds

through AI and other means, what do you see for Black Touch in the future?

43:12

43 minutes, 12 seconds

Um, not much different [laughter] to be honest. I use AI a great deal when it

43:20

43 minutes, 20 seconds

comes to the web development and you know developing the systems behind all of this stuff. But in regards to like

43:27

43 minutes, 27 seconds

the actual content that's my artistic expression and I feel really uh I feel that the the the the most

43:36

43 minutes, 36 seconds

important thing is keeping the humanity in in it. Otherwise, what are we what are we doing? You know what I'm saying?

43:42

43 minutes, 42 seconds

So I'm like, "Oh, this is all black, but it's also not real people." You know, like that's That is not even if even if

43:50

43 minutes, 50 seconds

that were to lead to more profit and more exposure and more more and more to me I'm losing the point like the point

43:57

43 minutes, 57 seconds

was to present this work with real people to real people. I didn't even know when we started this project that

44:05

44 minutes, 5 seconds

that would even be a choice to have an individual or people replaced by a digital s fact simile. That's never my

44:14

44 minutes, 14 seconds

interest. Um, now in order to make work easier, I may use AI to like make songs. Um, what else do I use it for?

44:27

44 minutes, 27 seconds

Which we do have. Uh, you can find the songs, espec

44:34

44 minutes, 34 seconds

um, on Apple, Spotify. What else was there?

44:39

44 minutes, 39 seconds

Uh, Apple, Spotify, uh, social media, YouTube Music.

44:44

44 minutes, 44 seconds

It's on Tik Tok, Instagram, it's actually all over the place. Uh to find a song, if you're watching a video and

44:51

44 minutes, 51 seconds

you like the song, just take a look to see if the credit button is there. If you click that, it'll display all the

44:58

44 minutes, 58 seconds

links for the song um that uh that's featured in the video. But yeah, like my my intent is to keep AI on the

45:07

45 minutes, 7 seconds

peripheral and focus still on telling stories with real people. So, I don't know what the industry is going to be doing. I just know what I'm willing to

45:15

45 minutes, 15 seconds

do and it's not um I have no intent on um swapping people out for digital faximiles at all.

Chapter 12: How Often Do We Publish

45:25

45 minutes, 25 seconds

Okay.

45:27

45 minutes, 27 seconds

Um how often will you be posting new scenes that's out of San Francisco, the Bay Area?

45:34

45 minutes, 34 seconds

Uh as often as I can manage. [laughter] there really is not a big team uh behind this and I you know I guess this is a

45:42

45 minutes, 42 seconds

good time to express that like you know you're seeing basically most of us right now there's like two other people involved

45:49

45 minutes, 49 seconds

in black touch um and so my goal like just so it's understood like right now

45:56

45 minutes, 56 seconds

I'm in the process of preparing to shoot like five scenes at the end of this month and that's like having calls

46:05

46 minutes, 5 seconds

booking locations um coming up with concepts. At the same time, I'm working on the website to try

46:12

46 minutes, 12 seconds

to like um correct some issues in the back end. And uh I'm also the person people call when there's a problem um

46:20

46 minutes, 20 seconds

like with their account. There's just a lot. And it's I'm not even really touching the tip of the iceberg. And at

46:27

46 minutes, 27 seconds

the same time, I'm never trying to decrease the quality of the edit and the work by just getting it out. Um, uh, I

46:36

46 minutes, 36 seconds

think that I'm doing myself and all the work that, uh, and and the team a disservice if I'm just

46:45

46 minutes, 45 seconds

shooting out a video every every week when I know the potential for how good

46:53

46 minutes, 53 seconds

that video could be. So, I try not to um I try to publish every Friday, a full scene every Friday. Uh, if a if a scene

47:02

47 minutes, 2 seconds

is missing, that's because I'm trying not to jip y'all. [laughter] Try not to just go splirtk and put it on a plate and hand it out to [laughter] I mean, it's the truth.

47:13

47 minutes, 13 seconds

Yeah. No, really.

47:14

47 minutes, 14 seconds

Uh, it's not it's not anything nefarious. It's almost always that the I did not balance the time it took to to

47:24

47 minutes, 24 seconds

edit that plus the 20 other things that I'm doing leading up to it. And I could I've actually edited an entire scene and published it

47:33

47 minutes, 33 seconds

on a Friday and that almost never looks good. So, I'm trying to find that balance where we can have consistent

47:41

47 minutes, 41 seconds

published content. That being said, we also u have other editors with us and it's I'm in the process of training them

47:50

47 minutes, 50 seconds

to um to essentially make sure that we have a consistent rate of content being published. The challenge with that is

47:58

47 minutes, 58 seconds

that the editing process is as much of an artistic expression thing as the videos and the lighting and the sound.

48:06

48 minutes, 6 seconds

And so asking someone to do what I do the way I do it isn't really viable.

48:12

48 minutes, 12 seconds

It's more about teaching them how to express themselves. And that takes a little bit more time.

Chapter 13: Working with Creators who do Interracial Scenes

48:18

48 minutes, 18 seconds

Uh the next one is are there any adult content creators who have not been considered to collaborate

48:25

48 minutes, 25 seconds

with Blacktouch because their frequent appearances in mainstream interracial interracial porn goes against Black

48:33

48 minutes, 33 seconds

Touch's vision and values. And uh that is from Jonathan out of New York.

48:39

48 minutes, 39 seconds

Yeah. Uh, I do not worry about what people do when they're not on my set unless they're toxic and they're abusive

48:47

48 minutes, 47 seconds

and they violate consent and stuff like that. But if you go and shoot like interracial porn, if that were the case,

48:55

48 minutes, 55 seconds

if I had to uh decide whether or not I'm shooting somebody and based off of whether or not they've shot an interracial scene

49:03

49 minutes, 3 seconds

before, we would not be able to produce content. Most of most of the guys we work with have shot interracial content.

49:10

49 minutes, 10 seconds

So, I don't sit and think about it. I don't I mean, it doesn't factor into when they're on set with us. So, no, I

49:17

49 minutes, 17 seconds

don't I don't use that as a uh as an excuse not to work with someone. If I don't want to work with someone, it's it's for something legitimate.

Chapter 14: Website Update

49:28

49 minutes, 28 seconds

What are some additions, improvements you seek to make with the website?

49:33

49 minutes, 33 seconds

We have um yeah, I'll I'll try to be quick with this. So, we want to add um way more

49:42

49 minutes, 42 seconds

well search to to be clear. I want to be able to allow people to search through all of the content that's there. Um like

49:52

49 minutes, 52 seconds

it kind of happened without me noticing how where the website basically just has a ton of content and a ton of things tags that could be had and all that. I

50:00

50 minutes

think the first thing to sort of like increase the discoverability of like your new favorite scene is by having a a

50:07

50 minutes, 7 seconds

a functional robust search feature. Um, and I'm also looking to add a layer of

50:14

50 minutes, 14 seconds

interactivity to the website. So, uh, adding likes and the ability to share and having people have their favorites

50:23

50 minutes, 23 seconds

and even, um, saving or marking a portion of a of a video to say, "Oh, I want to see that portion again, that

50:31

50 minutes, 31 seconds

clip again." That's technically doable, but it requires a lot of work. So, those are like the main focuses for the

50:39

50 minutes, 39 seconds

website. Um, also, uh, I'm trying to add the credit new a new credit card processor. Uh, I am

50:47

50 minutes, 47 seconds

around the corner on that one. It should be in like the next, uh, two weeks or so. Getting that wrapped up. Um, is there anything else I'm forgetting,

50:56

50 minutes, 56 seconds

Velvet? There got to be this. So, I just don't know what you want to be what you

51:03

51 minutes, 3 seconds

Oh, I want to discuss. You know what? I think I I've said enough. Yeah,

51:08

51 minutes, 8 seconds

[laughter]

51:09

51 minutes, 9 seconds

I have said enough.

Chapter 15: What Talent We'd Like to Work With

51:11

51 minutes, 11 seconds

Um, this next question, um, [clears throat] if you could do a black touch scene with anyone, adult performer or otherwise, who would it be?

51:22

51 minutes, 22 seconds

And that is from Troop 70 out of Maryland. Hi, Troop 70. He's on with us.

51:28

51 minutes, 28 seconds

Oh, thanks. Hey, Troop 70. How's it going, sir? I I see you on uh in the chat, sir. Um,

51:35

51 minutes, 35 seconds

uh, it would be somebody from the past like Vanessa Del Rio or something.

51:42

51 minutes, 42 seconds

I don't know. Like I It's not that I have an issue with people today. It's just that I didn't come up like fantasizing and thinking about these

51:49

51 minutes, 49 seconds

folks. Like when I was younger, there was just a a short set of people and far between. Yeah.

51:56

51 minutes, 56 seconds

Yeah. That were I was like, "Wow." Like I was mesmerized by this woman. If I could take her from the past and like have her featured in a current scene, that would be that would be awesome.

Chapter 16: Our Favorite Scene

52:07

52 minutes, 7 seconds

Do you have a favorite scene or performer that you've shot or shot with? And and that's also from Troop.

52:16

52 minutes, 16 seconds

That's a lot. Uh yeah, I'm not going to mention a favorite performer. Um, but a favorite

52:23

52 minutes, 23 seconds

scene, there's just too many to be saying that like like which one of the 174 scenes is

52:31

52 minutes, 31 seconds

my favorite. Like that's too much. I can tell you in the more recent ones that I'm like very proud of because of how

52:40

52 minutes, 40 seconds

well it came out. Um, the new guy, the one the threesome with Rain and and Jabari and all that, [snorts] that one came out really freaking good.

52:50

52 minutes, 50 seconds

And um yeah, I would sit down like I I I would have been impressed watching it back. Um but there there are so many

52:58

52 minutes, 58 seconds

they're also like different to me even though I'm the one shooting and editing it. Like they're also different because the people are different. The delivery

53:05

53 minutes, 5 seconds

of the performances are different. I will say that that one um the new guy scene is so good to me because Rain

53:13

53 minutes, 13 seconds

really embodied that character like super well and so I didn't have to like direct her.

53:19

53 minutes, 19 seconds

It was like she was truly channeling um this person. It's probably that's how she is to be honest [laughter] and I just love the way it came out. So

53:27

53 minutes, 27 seconds

yeah, that's my answer for that. U the so want to see a hen party, male stripper, and five to 10 women having sex.

Chapter 17: Scenes By Request

53:37

53 minutes, 37 seconds

Is that a question or just a suggestion?

53:41

53 minutes, 41 seconds

Or more swinger parties and couples swinging.

53:44

53 minutes, 44 seconds

You know what's what's challenging? Um, so, okay.

53:47

53 minutes, 47 seconds

To find that many people to work together.

53:50

53 minutes, 50 seconds

Yeah. It's it's it's not, you know what's interesting cuz cuz you might see these these videos that come

53:58

53 minutes, 58 seconds

out of the West Coast, but every one of those people are like in the industry and they're getting booked and it's all

54:05

54 minutes, 5 seconds

being aligned. We're on we're in Atlanta where if I were to try to do that it would be I'd have to fly like half the people in,

54:15

54 minutes, 15 seconds

you know. And it's not to say that there aren't there aren't swingers and stuff like that in Atlanta. It's just that the people who do it are not public about

54:22

54 minutes, 22 seconds

it. The ones who are public, they don't live here.

54:25

54 minutes, 25 seconds

Underground a lot of underground in Atlanta specifically and I know in other cities but be living here like it's invite only.

54:35

54 minutes, 35 seconds

um type of thing and you know there's no phones allowed. You got to you know bring your license all that stuff. Um

54:43

54 minutes, 43 seconds

and so because those people even though they're interested in in indulging in those types of activities doesn't mean

54:51

54 minutes, 51 seconds

that they would do it for public consumption for everybody. Right.

54:57

54 minutes, 57 seconds

Right. So again, I you know, a lot of the times when people are making suggestions and and asking us to to do

55:04

55 minutes, 4 seconds

particular things, I get where it's coming from because they see that somewhere else and they want to see it from our perspective. But the thing that

55:11

55 minutes, 11 seconds

leads up to the actual shoot, all of the conversations and the like all of that stuff is not the same as what happens to make those other scenes happen here.

55:23

55 minutes, 23 seconds

It's a concentrated effort and then we could do a ton of prep work and planning and logistics and then three people don't show up.

55:33

55 minutes, 33 seconds

So, uh just have y'all, you know, be patient. If it were, if it's meant to be, it's going to be. Um there are things that, you know, if I were to if I

55:42

55 minutes, 42 seconds

really put my mind to do it, I'm going to make some [ __ ] happen, but it just it's just too much that cannot Yeah. too much to to that can go wrong

55:51

55 minutes, 51 seconds

to for me to make a promise to somebody that that's what I'm going to do.

55:55

55 minutes, 55 seconds

I will work towards it and while we're heading there, two people fall off, another person falls off and then we end up having like a threesome or just it

56:04

56 minutes, 4 seconds

it'll just be what it ends up being. And I have to be at be at peace with that.

56:08

56 minutes, 8 seconds

And I'm trying to express to people that the challenge is real uh getting these things done.

Chapter 18: Working With New Videographers

56:16

56 minutes, 16 seconds

Um, do you Okay, so Romeo O Romeo, do you work with the same photographers and videographers?

56:23

56 minutes, 23 seconds

Do you only work with people in Atlanta or where you're based? So, the first one you did answer for as far as the photographer, Brian and Makita, they're

56:32

56 minutes, 32 seconds

they're the crew as he mentioned for as far as the photographer and videographer.

56:37

56 minutes, 37 seconds

Um ex maybe you wanted I don't know if they're asking about will you work with others if you wanted to respond to that.

56:45

56 minutes, 45 seconds

Uh um I probably not for the people who I would work with. There

56:54

56 minutes, 54 seconds

has to be some relationship there. It's just a little bit too much to bring people who I don't know into a space

57:01

57 minutes, 1 second

like that and think that it's going to just continue to work as uh as it has.

57:08

57 minutes, 8 seconds

Um I would consider working with other with other photographers and videographers, but it wouldn't be me finding somebody liking their work and then sending them to go shoot.

57:18

57 minutes, 18 seconds

Um there's just too much on the line. Um and people got demons, you feel me? So I'm trying not to expose the talent cuz

57:28

57 minutes, 28 seconds

in that moment they're very vulnerable to uh somebody that I don't really understand their

57:34

57 minutes, 34 seconds

mindset right and their values and all of that stuff. So um the answer is yes I would work with someone else but it's it

57:43

57 minutes, 43 seconds

be to become that someone else is a bit of a journey. Um, his second question is, do you only work with people in Atlanta or where you're based?

Chapter 19: Do we work with people outside of Atlanbta

57:53

57 minutes, 53 seconds

Oh, no. Um, most of the people we shoot with are they fly in to Atlanta. Give an

58:00

58 minutes

example. So, I'm planning a shoot, a set of shoots, uh, from the 24th to the 27th

58:07

58 minutes, 7 seconds

of this month. Someone's coming from Cali, someone's coming from Florida, Maryland.

58:15

58 minutes, 15 seconds

I mean, this Tallahassee, by the way, Jordan moved to Tallahassee, babe. Um, really? Yeah. Yeah. He's no longer in Atlanta.

58:22

58 minutes, 22 seconds

So, like, there are people who are constantly coming into town to work with us. In fact, very few people in Atlanta that we could work with and we haven't

58:31

58 minutes, 31 seconds

worked with yet. So, if you're seeing new people, that's most likely because they're from out of town.

58:36

58 minutes, 36 seconds

Okay. He asked a question again about working with other photographers and then he added on especially if they already have a portfolio of erotica and erotic art.

58:46

58 minutes, 46 seconds

Um um I think that I think that I would consider it only after uh having conversations with their muses.

58:57

58 minutes, 57 seconds

You know what I'm saying? It isn't really just how well you can shoot and and whatnot because I know really good photographers who I'd never let get

59:06

59 minutes, 6 seconds

anywhere near my sets. You know, their qual the work of their the quality of their work is but they can stay over there

59:14

59 minutes, 14 seconds

and so and that's only because I, you know, I just have the opportunity to hear stories and and there's just too many

59:21

59 minutes, 21 seconds

things that could go wrong. So, I probably would have conversations with um your subjects before I'd have a

59:28

59 minutes, 28 seconds

conversation with you about that. Um and I would do it without you knowing.

59:34

59 minutes, 34 seconds

And then, uh Romeo said he just watched the new guy yesterday and that whole thing was amazing. Oh, sweet. Appreciate that.

Chapter 20: Selling Individual Scenes

59:41

59 minutes, 41 seconds

Troop 70 said, "Would you ever consider making scenes or portraits available for purchase separate from having a subscription?" Uh, no.

59:52

59 minutes, 52 seconds

Well, the reason why that the technical work to make that happen is too heavy.

1:00:01

1 hour, 1 second

That's one thing. Two, I also someone someone could theoretically purchase everything and like recreate my site. I don't that's not the the intent. The

1:00:10

1 hour, 10 seconds

intent is to create a home for a global home for Black eratica. And so that's why the subscription is re relatively

1:00:18

1 hour, 18 seconds

low [laughter] so that I'm trying to allow people to be able to jump in and jump out as they see

1:00:24

1 hour, 24 seconds

fit and um partake as they see fit, but to purchase and own and download. Uh

1:00:33

1 hour, 33 seconds

there's just too many problems with that.

1:00:36

1 hour, 36 seconds

and and just just you know I know this may not be um troops perspective but a lot of people do ask

1:00:44

1 hour, 44 seconds

hey how do I download this how do I download that because they've been trained by most of these sites that allow them to download but those sites

1:00:51

1 hour, 51 seconds

if you think about it the people who are hosting the site that let you download the video didn't take the time to make it they didn't craft it they didn't plan

1:00:59

1 hour, 59 seconds

it they didn't edit it they didn't market it just an aggregation point and they're making most of their money off

1:01:06

1 hour, 1 minute, 6 seconds

of advertisements. So, um, we've been, you know, the wider public's been trained to think about like this content

1:01:15

1 hour, 1 minute, 15 seconds

as a commodity. And, uh, the truth is somebody like me who spends most of his waking hours thinking about this,

1:01:24

1 hour, 1 minute, 24 seconds

shooting it, editing it, working on the website, making, troubleshooting, working, coordinating. I don't want

1:01:31

1 hour, 1 minute, 31 seconds

people to treat my [ __ ] like it's discardable, right? Or whatever. So,

1:01:38

1 hour, 1 minute, 38 seconds

that's partially why it's a it's a bit of like emotion behind it. I don't I don't see my stuff as I see it as a library of work. I see I don't see it as individual work. You know what I mean?

Chapter 21: Outro

1:01:48

1 hour, 1 minute, 48 seconds

Um I recognize some of the names like More Please and Truth. True. um because they have um volunteered when we ask for

1:01:57

1 hour, 1 minute, 57 seconds

beta testers and they be active. They active as [ __ ] bro. I appreciate that. Very active. That's another thing. Yes.

1:02:05

1 hour, 2 minutes, 5 seconds

We're going to try to and all of that.

1:02:09

1 hour, 2 minutes, 9 seconds

We're going to try to double down on uh on our on our uh presence here. Um, like I said, I'll be super busy and Velvet

1:02:16

1 hour, 2 minutes, 16 seconds

has done a great job like picking up the slack, but I do really want to establish a community feel for for Black Touch.

1:02:23

1 hour, 2 minutes, 23 seconds

And it's that comes with intentionality.

1:02:25

1 hour, 2 minutes, 25 seconds

This is why I don't just do stuff. I try to think things all the way through.

1:02:29

1 hour, 2 minutes, 29 seconds

They can both tell you. I'm always thinking. I'm always grinding trying to figure out how to improve um the

1:02:36

1 hour, 2 minutes, 36 seconds

experience and um like build the actual community around the the brand. So stay stay with us. We we're we've got some incredible stuff coming like real soon.
