As a matter of fact, it seems that many publishers and authors are guiding Black speculative fiction authors in that direction. That being the case, what Black young adult authors/books do you recommend?

  22. Five Stars October 9, 2024 I never thought I would be reading a Hallmark special made novel in October. I’m not a pumpkin spice type of guy but I found that I really enjoyed it. It is a contemporary family story set around the sea islands during Christmas. I found the family dynamic real and the romance touching. The food descriptions were a bonus and for me(as a foodie) the MVP in the story. I’m ready for the sequel. - David Hankerson, Goodreads review Preorder A Palmetto Christmas today from MVmedia and anywhere books are sold. Release date: November 29, 2024. ISBN no.: 979-8990512009
