Dems & GOP United in Condemning Assassination Attempt

After an assassination attempt on the life of former POTUS Orange Julius, both political parties are united in condemning the attack. 

 

The former POTUS was grazed on the ear, an attendee was was killed, 2 other folks were injured and the shooter was taken out by snipers.

 

Over the next few days, weeks and months, we'll see how the temperature changes in terms of political rhetoric leading up to the election.

 

As I've often mentioned, the political parties are two-sides of the same coin when the rubber meets the road.

Social media is simmering with  suspicion and skepticism. I came across a post suggesting that the Retrumpicans were behind the whole charade, and it had 6K "likes".

Hopefully fence sitters won't be gullible enough to cast sympathy votes for Teflon Don.

 

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. But - I am open to the idea that mischievous aliens are running the show...

Shooter walks up on the scene with an AR-15. People see him climbing up on a roof. They try to alert police of the suspicious character. Cops do nothing. 

 

The building was 400 feet away from where former POTUS was speaking. There is Secret Service and snipers everywhere.

 

The media is fumbling all over itself trying to figure out and explain how this shooting could have happened. They don't want to talk about how there are too many guns in America. 

 

On one hand, the media is praising the swift action of law enforcement. OTOH, they don't understand how someone could get within 400 feet of carrying out an assassination. 

 

With more street cred as a convict and now grazed by a bullet, it will be interesting to see how  folks rally around the orange fella in November.
