All over the internet you see articles and videos of "white dudes for Kamala" this and "white dudes for Harris" that.
Making a big deal over her White supporters.
Now tie that to the fact that she's married to a White man.

I can already see the narrative:
"White men got Kamala Harris in office while Black men sat on the couch"

Not only will this be used to drive a wedge further into our already divided community as Black women pat "white dudes" on the back for helping Harris get in while giving Black men a side-eye for not supporting "sista girl" .
But it will also be used as a excuse for her administration to do little for the AfroAmerican community since....as they'll claim...."white dudes" put her in office.

Just the ammo the Establishment needs to further divide Black men and Black women and "lure" our sistaz away into the arms of White men.....or eachother.

Now in truth........

We know that MOST of the White men who choose to vote, will NOT vote for Harris.
We also know that MOST of the Black men who DO bother to vote WILL vote for Harris.

It's the Black vote that will usher her in.
But that's not how they're going to spin it.

I told yall in another thread that Kamala's image will be used to FURTHER encourage Black women to leave Black men and run into the arms of White men (or eachother)
I said that.
I stand by what I said.

I also said and I'll continue to say, she's better than Trump....but she's far from the ideal President for our community (AfroAmerican/FBA).
Michelle Obama would have been a MUCH better choice not just in image but in policy and tangible benefits.

I don't see where they have promised to do anything for the AfroAmerican community.

However, you can rest assured that everyone else, including illegal immigrants will get tangible benefits (money, green cards, citizenship, etc.).

More ammo maybe.  But, most of these people don't need anything else to run into the arms of *others* men or women. That's a choice they already made before the election.

The Democrats are catering to swing voters in battleground states.  They aren't going to turn a Red state Blue.

Right.  They are hoping the Black men in battleground states will show up to vote instead of sitting on the couch.

Don't quite understand this fixation on Michelle Obama.  She hasn't even flirted with having political aspirations.

From an optics perspective, Michelle Obama would be great.  I'm not so sure that she could or would do any more for AfroAmericans than her husband did with 8 years in office.

If VP Kamala Harris gets elected POTUS, she will do about the same thing.  AfroAmericans aren't getting tangible benefits from these folks.  Just more symbolism and tokenism.😎

Look at this "news" article that JUST popped up on my screen after opening a fresh window:

Black women, white dudes, crazy cat ladies: Identity groups fuel a groundswell for Harris

Disabled voters for Harris. White dudes for Harris. Crazy cat ladies for Harris.

Since Vice President Kamala Harris vaulted into becoming the likely Democratic nominee for president a week ago, a groundswell of identity-based grassroots groups have sprung up online to rally behind her. The nightly calls are raising millions of dollars and securing hundreds of volunteers, drawing comparisons to the grassroots efforts that fueled former President Obama to victory in 2008.

You mean to tell me that an agenda isn't afoot here?

A narrative is DEFINITELY being set up.

Early on when Biden was being pressured to drop out of the race Michelle and Kamala were the two major names being tossed around in the mainstream media as top choices for Democratic Presidential Candidate.
I don't know what happened but during the last month her name kind of disappeared.
Maybe she made it clear that she wasn't interested in the job, but when I heard it....it rang a bell.

I think she would actually be MORE helpful than her husband was for US (AfroAmericans).
I think she'd be far more likely to listen to and be empathetic to our concerns because she's actually one of us.
Barack wasn't FBA....she is.
And she has far more backbone than he does.

Guy used to sang:

Guy

"It's just a fantasy........"

But it sho' does feel good dreaming about it.

Kamala wouldn't be quite as detrimental as Trump, but the "agenda" to reduce the FBA population will continue under her Administration and will actually get a boost from her and her husband's image.

Being the children of immigrants too.....we all know where that's going during her administration.

Shoring up the non-Black vote.

Gotcha.

Maybe Michelle Obama will have a change of heart in 2028. She's got 4 years to get her political weight up.😁

I don't see the Dems reducing FBA/ADOS population as much as neutralizing the Black vote by giving illegal immigrants citizenship.

OTOH, the GOP claims there will be mass deportations of illegal immigrants and proof of citizenship will be required in order to vote.

Oh by the way, the former POTUS OJ told Christians they won't have to worry about voting again since the *problem* will be fixed.

Some folks think his comment was code for dictatorship. POTUS OJ is delusional if he thinks American people will stand for it. The next bullet won't miss.🤣😎

I can see people starting this meme in order to depress black male votes for Kamala. I don’t think it was done to destabilize, black male female relationships. That job is already been completed.😮

In regard to the surge in Kamala Harris support groups, it serves that vocal social media crowd of Kamala detractors right! That's what these black dudes get for turning their backs on Kamala. They got gamed by white guys, Their pettiness backfired and now they're standing around with egg on their faces, left with nothing to offer the Democrats in exchange for their votes. You trifling second stringers ain't ready to run with the big boys. Go sit back down on the bench and play with yourselves.

Meanwhile, those  pragmatic brothas in high places who do get on the Kamala bandwagon will reap what benefits result in the event of a Democrat victory.

Actually, there's still no guarantee Kamala will win, with the specter of Robert Kennedy's candicacy beckoning disgruntled Blacks looking to play the spoiler role. But who ever triumphs will represent a victory for white superiority when it comes to  chicanery. As for alternatives, when Obama was president, black men were among his harshest critics. They've never stopped besmirching his legacy, calling him a sell-out who did nothing forBlacks. Now suddenly certain ones are convinced that Obama's inexperienced all-black wife, with his help, would be a good president, miraculously equipped to deal with a racist Republican controlled Congress.

Hopefully, Kamala's vice president choice will be someone who, behind the scenes, can take up her slack.

This campaign is really setting the stage for chaos. There may be some dissent at the Democratic convention from resentful upstarts wanting an open convention, miffed over being blitzed by the Kamala Harris  coronation that left them no say in the selection process.

Then there's the Electoral College which could be the biggest obstacle of all. The highly vaunted Foundling Father's did posterity no favor by coming up with this convoluted process that counterfeits the popular vote. These male chauvinistic, slave holders were not all they're cracked up to be. They'd have certainly favored Trump for President over Harris!

Similar to the endorsements rolling in from Democratic power brokers, I believe during their convention, everyone will fall in line and be on their best behavior  in supporting VP Harris as the nominee for POTUS.

Thomas Jefferson wrote some things alluding to the fact that America would be different in the future.  I'm sure Jefferson did not envision an America to this degree.

Otherwise, the founding fathers definitely did not take into consideration:

1) Black folks would be free and whole people with voting rights

2) women would serve in leadership positions

3) immigrants from all over the planet would flood the United States

In as much as things seem to change, they remain the same.

Despite the emancipation proclamation, women's suffrage, Civil Rights and feminism to name a few, America is still dominated by a white patriarchy in its governance.

Even if a non-white man becomes POTUS, they still pull the strings and run the show.  White women understand it full stop.

That's why we don't hear and see white women or any other race of women proclaiming to be strong and independent.

Sure, there are factions of white women wearing p8ssy hats or heavy into the LBGTQ+ movement or some other form of feminism but the majority of them are code when it comes to respecting white patriarchy and maintaining white supremacy.

Therein lies the reason the Orange Jackazz won in 2016.  It was a referendum against Hilary Clinton.  White men didn't want a woman running the country. For the same reason, former POTUS OJ will be re-elected in  2024.

Former POTUS OJ will not get re-elected because Black men refuse to vote.  He will win because he's a white man upholding the system of racism white supremacy that benefits ALL white people regardless of how they vote.😎

I think Trump will win because there isn't a popular vote and we have this winner take all electoral college. Trump would lose a popular vote by millions.

The reality is that the Presidental election will be determined by a handful states.  It is really important for Black people in Georgia, North Carolina, and Michigan to vote.  In states like California and New York it does not matter so much... I know there are some of you that would bristle at me saying one more Black person voting democrat in California or New York ain't gonna make a difference in the outcome of the election -- it is just math.

Right.  Battleground aka swing states are where POTUS elections are usually won or lost due to wacky azz electoral college system.😎

If Black males don't come out in large numbers, it's not the fault of Black males but the fault of the politicians who refused to "woo" us.

You can't spend 364 days of the year ignoring and shitting on Black men and calling them the oppressors of the community and advising our own women to leave us, while promising us as a group absolutely nothing tangible or otherwise....then turn around and scratch your head as to why we aren't enthused about voting for you.

I agree and see the same attempt.
I don't see them actually "reducing" FBA population but I do see them attempting to REPLACE the population in certain key areas both geographically and physically.

OTOH, the GOP claims there will be mass deportations of illegal immigrants and proof of citizenship will be required in order to vote.

They've BEEN claiming this, but they haven't done it.
Remember...and this is a point I constantly bring up in real life to Trump supporters...the man ALREADY WAS IN OFFICE for 4 years.
Did he reduce the amount of illegal immigrants or build a wall to keep them out?

No
What makes people think he's serious about doing it again?

Some folks think his comment was code for dictatorship. POTUS OJ is delusional if he thinks American people will stand for it.

You'd be surprised at what the American people will tolerate.
I didn't think these many Black folks would be pro-Trump.

Never underestimate the power of media/mind manipulation.

Remember how quickly people forgot that Trump was SUPPOSED TO BE SENTENCED in July for his being found guilty?
What happened to the sentencing?

Institutionalized Racism isn't like the Moderna Vaccine....one shot and you're done, lol.

It's a PROCESS that must be constantly maintained.

Just like each generation of intelligent AfroAmericans constantly come up with new ways to REPAIR the fragmented relationship between AfroAmerican men and women....the racists are constantly coming up with new ways to keep it fragmented, less the wounds begin healing.

How many Black voters do we still HAVE in California????

Politicians ignore their Black voter base for 3.5 years until it's time for re-election. Then, they wanna get that azz to the poles, er, polls.🤣

True. We've been through 4 years of POTUS OJ talking loud and saying nothing as James Brown sang.😁

Not really. That's why my constant refrain is both political parties are two sides of the same coin. White folks don't lose whichever way the wind blows.

Right. Sentencing was pushed back. Cases were dismissed. Seems to be much about nothing.

Once they realized he was going to be the GOP nominee...white privilege kicked into overdrive and everything else started to evaporate.

The game is easy to see. Just a matter of either opening one's eyes or getting their head out of the sand.😎
