VP Harris Selects Running Mate

Yesterday, VP Kamala Harris selected Governor Tim Walz (MN) as her running mate in bid for the White House.

 

VP Harris' pick makes political sense because Gov. Walz ticks the boxes in appealing to swing voters.

 

America is most comfortable with a paternalistic older white man either in the White House or in close proximity to it.

 

In the spirit of the Olympics,if the Democrats were a gymnastics team, before POTUS PJB had a debacle of a debate and cognitive decline, he fell off the balance beam and failed to stick the landing.

 

However, once POTUS PJB dropped out of the race and endorsed VP Kamala Harris and now selecting Gov. Walz to join the ticket, the Democrats may have redeemed themselves and still have a chance to win a Gold medal.

Although I personally don't like it, I do think it was a politically strategic move.
I guess when you're operating on that level you have to have a White man somewhere in the mix to keep the wolves off your back.

I've been in management and supervisory positions and put White men or women in certain spots because they were White.
It was always a chess move for a greater goal.

It was the only move she could make. Selecting anything different would have doomed her campaign. 

 

Former POTUS Obama selected POTUS PJB for the very same reason. 

 

The game belongs to white folks. They just allow others to think they're playing in it. Try to go too far against the grain and they will yank the chain.
