Pioneer1 Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Senators are skeptical of Trump's call for a bipartisan deal on Dreamers MmmmHmmmm...... Already Trump is showing signs of back pedaling on his mass deportation program. If he was willing to make a deal on the "Dreamers" who are also in this country illegally, why didn't he mention this when he was running? Why did he talk nothing but DEPORTATION, DEPORTATION, and MASS DEPORTATION when he was running, but now as he gets closer to stepping into the Whitehouse...all of a sudden he want to compromise? I told people about this shit.
Pioneer1 Posted January 5 Author Report Posted January 5 Non-Black Latina spits in a brutha's face and stabs him: Damn...... That hit hard. Who wants to bet money on this Mestiza Latina who stabbed that brutha, being either an illegal immigrant or "dreamer" child of one? And another thing. It looked like the owner of that deli or atleast the workers I saw in the story were non-Black Latinos as well. They MAY have been Dominican or Puerto Rican...but certainly not Black ones. Like I said ProfD, these people aren't our allies and they didn't come here to help us. IF Trum....IF...IF...IF...Trump were to round them up and send them back to Latin America...I wouldn't shed too many tears over it. How are they being here helping us?

Very unfortunate situation but a regular crime especially in a major city like NYC. Black folks and Latinos have been jumbled up together in the Big Apple for many decades. Whether that woman is here legally or illegally, we need to address the mentality that makes a person stab someone else over a place in line for a sandwich. That's petty. Immigrants definitely aren't here to help FBA folks. Immigrants come to America as the land of opportunity. FBA folks need to do a better job of understanding "we have no friends" especially among these people who do not share our history. FBA should be distancing ourselves from their accordingly. Minimize contact. If mass deportation helps in that regard...no tears need to be shed for them.
Pioneer1 Posted January 5 Author Report Posted January 5 ProfD You're speaking facts all day long my brutha..... The best way to distance ourselves from them is by sending them BACK to their countries of origin. Not that I have too much faith that Trump will do that, but if he does...it would be wonderful. Like the old saying goes, out of sight...out of mind.

In fact, it will be hard to tell how many were actually deported.

The racists and conservatives who FAVOR mass deportation have thought of this also and this is why they're trying to figure out a way to work around the 14 Amendment so that even if you were BORN here....if you were born from illegal immigrants...you gotta go too!

Smoke screen. They are not going to deport natural born citizens. They need them to dilute the number of minorities.
Pioneer1 Posted January 5 Author Report Posted January 5 3 hours ago, ProfD said: Smoke screen. They are not going to deport natural born citizens. They need them to dilute the number of minorities. If Trump can find a way around the 14th Amendment.... Natural born citizens OF illegal immigrants are covered under the 14th Amendment. They're trying to find a way around that. Remember back in the 80s with the drug laws. Even if you bought a house or car legally with money, if the money you used was attained THROUGH selling dope or doing things that were illegal...then that gave them legal grounds to seize the stuff you bought with it. Along similar lines.. Even if the children are legal, if they were birth in illegal circumstances then their citizenship may be in jeopardy.
ProfD Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 1 hour ago, Pioneer1 said: Natural born citizens OF illegal immigrants are covered under the 14th Amendment. They're trying to find a way around that. Understood. They won't be able to get around the constitution. Their hands will be full 1) securing the border and 2) rounding up and deporting the illegal immigrants who already have court-ordered removal papers. These four years will be interesting as it relates to illegal immigration. I'm curious to see if a Republican administration handles it any differently.
Pioneer1 Posted January 6 Author Report Posted January 6 ProfD They won't be able to get around the constitution. You'd be surprised what they can and will do if they really want to. The Constitution is supposed to protect you from unlawful search and seizures but so many Black and poor people have been victims of it despite it violating their Constitutional Rights. Citizens are guaranteed the right to vote, but they just said FUCK IT and made it illegal for felons to vote in certain states despite them being citizens. Clearly unconstitutional. So if they really want to ignore the 14th Amendment, they will. These four years will be interesting as it relates to illegal immigration. They will be interesting regardless. I'm curious to see if a Republican administration handles it any differently. Well remember, the man was ALREADY in office for 4 years and his Administration didn't seem to have much of an impact on immigration legal OR illegal. The only thing that slowed down illegal immigration during the first Trump Administration was Covid.
Troy Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 I have used the post office he was based out of many times, though, I don’t know the deli. she spit in the brother‘s face, clearly asking for trouble. Then she took out a knife and stabbed him. All of this over who is first in line?! Obviously, this young woman is mentally disturbed. I would stop short of lumping everyone in her ethnicity as an enemy of FBAs. She is an enemy of the public. Homie just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
ProfD Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 4 hours ago, Troy said: I would stop short of lumping everyone in her ethnicity as an enemy of FBAs. Sure. FBAs shouldn't lump everyone of other ethnicities as enemies. I don't believe we should consider them friends or allies either. We should remain neutral until loyalty is demonstrated and proven.
Pioneer1 Posted January 8 Author Report Posted January 8 Troy I wouldn't lump them all together, but I do notice patterns. Noticing patterns is a sign of intelligence. And the flip side of that is NOT noticing patterns and how the same type of people can be found engaging in the same types of behavior is a sign of stupidity or low intelligence. If non-Black Latinos have shown us over and over again in the PAST that they don't like us or have respect for us, how intelligent would it be for us to expect for them to feel any different currently or in the future? Here's a Black man with a good job, looks halfway decent, she SHOULD have been trying to get his phone number and hook up a relationship with the brutha (not that HE would have wanted to do because from what I've seen of her in that quick video clip she's made tall and lanky and walks like a stud) but simply because of him being a "good catch". Instead, she picks a fight with him and kills him. That shows you the type of hatred some of these people have. ProfD We should remain neutral until loyalty is demonstrated and proven. And like Neely Fuller Jr said, EACH ONE of them will have to prove their alliance and loyalty. Each individual! No giving the ENTIRE ethnic group a pass because one or two of them may be cool or may have marched with us in some rally. Each and every non-FBA person who comes before us should have to prove their loyalty if they want us to trust them and build an alliance with them. Now if you just want to "get along" and wave at eachother while passing by on the street....then we can do that. But we're not working together until I find out who you are and what you're about.
ProfD Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 53 minutes ago, Pioneer1 said: Each and every non-FBA person who comes before us should have to prove their loyalty if they want us to trust them and build an alliance with them. Absolutely. Strategic alliances should only be built on shared interests. If it's not a constructive endeavor, it's a waste of time. 53 minutes ago, Pioneer1 said: Now if you just want to "get along" and wave at eachother while passing by on the street....then we can do that. Definitely. It doesn't cost anything to wave or head nod or give a pound. There's nothing wrong with having a constructive conversation or mixing it up between the sheets with non-FBA folks. However, whenever it comes to standing on business, leave the toys at the playground.
