Not Mzuri. Sara was who you banned. Mzuri was left over from the Thumper's corner era. She used to be my ally against Kola Boof before we fell out. She was going to collaborate on that book with us.Remember? I think her real name was Pam. No. I didn't know anything about ABM other than that he was from Chicago and Kola had designs on him. 

BTW I corrected the years we've known each other. I said it was 30 years, but it's more like 25. I'm FB friends with several  members of the old gang from back then. Whatever happened to Thumper? Is he still reviewing books?

Well it should be know that @Pioneer1’s voluntary financial contributions actually fund this discussion forum.

 

Now, I'm sure those few money orders I've sent in wasn't nearly enough to fund a discussion forum as sophisticated as this one...lol.

Infact, I think it was 3 or 4 years since I had last gave anything.

 

If this site had to wait on ME to fund it....let's just say Cynique would be spending a LOT more time at the local community center....lol.

Honestly, I didn't mention it NOT because of some sort of moral or religious "humility"; but because I really didn't see a need to.
I didn't see any incentive in doing so.

Trust me, if I thought I could get some sort of financial...or even sexual...incentive for saying I gave money to support a Black website, I would have said something YEARS ago, lol.

 

Humility isn't part of my moral code.
I don't care if people know I give money or if it's kept a secret; as long as it ends up in the right hands.

But I'm not religious so I don't believe there's some "special benefit" in keeping any good deeds you do a secret.
It's a matter of personal choice.

 

 

 

 

Now obviously that has not stopped me from disagreeing with him, nor has my agreeing with him been a condition of his support. 

 

Facts.
If my support for this site only went as far as your agreeing with me I would have stopped posting on here YEARS ago.

But that being said, I'm not above "bribing" people to try to get some sort of support for what I want...lol.

Like I said, if there's some sort of financial or sexual (not from you...lol) incentive and benefit, I WOULD consider bribing and bragging...lol.

For years I'd post on this site but I didn't buy any books...the very purpose OF the site.
I felt a little "funny" for doing such so I decided that if I'm not going to buy any books, the least I could do send in a little contribution to show my appreciation.

You mean you’ve heard of her outside of this forum? Yeah she was a regular one of the most prolific posters this forum has ever had, but she got on Thumper‘s last nerve at one point. I set up a separate forum just for her to try to keep the two apart. That didn’t work very well, she needed a foil. Eventually, she ran Thumper out of here…  which killed the online book club which was a loss.

Not only have I heard of her outside of this forum, I've heard of HER outside of the internet.
On television and some magazines.
But this was many years ago.

She posed naked a bunch of times.
Was a feminist.
And claimed to be a mistress of Bin Laden.

Well, with the stories I've heard of her and from the interviews...she's something else.
Dangerous.
But she went through a lot too in Sudan.
 

I think she may have been in the military but I forgot a lot of the things I read about her and heard her say.

She's been interviewed on C-Span.....or was it PBS???
