May 13, 2025May 13 comment_73735 What about children raised by single mothers who give their mothers gifts on both Mother's Day AND Father's Day? I was fortunate to have BOTH of my Parents....wonderful Parents...so that wasn't an issue for me. However I knew a lot of cats who didn't have fathers growing up and a few of them actually celebrated Father's Day with their mothers. Report

It is a kind gesture and recognition for the manufactured holidays. Father's Day being the after-thought holiday.🤣 23 minutes ago, Pioneer1 said: However I knew a lot of cats who didn't have a fathers growing up and a few of them actually celebrated Father's Day with their mothers. Technically, every human being has a *father*/donor or they would not exist.😁 For one reason or several, every child does not have the benefit of a *daddy* i.e. a man who raises and teaches them. It makes sense for people to celebrate the maternal and paternal figures who had the most impact on their lives even if it's the same person rolled up in one. There are grandparents, other relatives and friends who take on parental responsibilities for children they didn't bear.😎 Report
