umbrarchist Posted June 15 Report Posted June 15 I just discovered a YouTube channel that I have never seen before. It is one year old, so not brand new but relatively new. I noticed this because I remember the first time I encountered mention of VANADIUM. I was in my twenties in a store specializing in tools and I was buying a set of tools for my first car. I thought it was a cool sounding name. The first mass commercial use for Vanadium was the Ford Model-T. This fits into my fixation on technology. It is not White people who matter in history. It is the people who had relatively advanced technology when everybody else didn't. On this planet they happened to be White. Look at what Ukrainians are doing to Russians with technology. With some outside assistance but they seem to be doing some innovating. But Vanadium, 1905! .

Regardless of whether or not white folks make the discovery, they always seem to make the most money from everything discovered and/or invented. 22 hours ago, umbrarchist said: Look at what Ukrainians are doing to Russians with technology. They received weapons from the US and were volunteered to be crash test dummies using them in a theater of conflict.

Apparently we have been observing different things. https://rubryka.com/en/article/war-tech-in-ukraine/ 59 minutes ago, ProfD said: Regardless of whether or not white folks make the discovery, they always seem to make the most money from everything discovered and/or invented. The problem is that science/technology creates a positive feedback loop. Technology made it possible for Whites to steal vast amounts of land. That land contained resources that might have been useless at the time but could be extremely useful decades later when some unknown technology was developed. In 1960 the LASER was called "a solution looking for a problem". The technology does not care!

They aren't coming up with anything *new*. 2 hours ago, umbrarchist said: The problem is that science/technology creates a positive feedback loop.
