I just started to read Epicurus Being Happy.

 

It has the following quote, " Most people, however, recoil from death as though it were the greatest of evils; at other times they welcome it as the end all life's ills.

Death isn't the enemy, it's a benefit.

No matter how bad life is, imagine if there was NO death at all and you were stuck in that situation.

Death is actually a TRANSITION to other Realities.

But the fear most people have of it is natural.
That Survival instinct was put in us for a reason.

When you talk to old people who are close to death and ask them what their biggest regrets were, it's almost always something to do with letting "fear" stop them from doing something they wanted to do...whether it involved money, love, career move, etc....
