These Sistaz Ain' t Trying To Be Madea

A friend of mine from work keeps trying to get me to go to South Africa on a visit.
He talks about how much I'd love it and wouldn't want to come back.

He also loves to send me clips of South African women on the beach like this one:  South African Sistas On The Beach

Although I love MOST Sub-Saharan African women in all of their diversity, I have to admit that the women in see in the videos he sends me do NOT look like typical African women.
I don't simply mean how they dress but even how they look physically.
The various lighter skin tones.
Being fat with big bellies and cellulite (which I don't mind in most cases....just part of an observation)
Hair fixed in various styles with blonde and red highlights.

And they come in various ages!
Most of the sistaz in THIS particular video seem to be in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.....but wearing bikinis and having a great time!

I keep thinking this was something out of the United States because they look so much like Black American women.
But their ATTITUDE and how their carry themselves tells me that they aren't American.
Too much smiling and having fun with eachother and no White people in sight in most cases.

What a contrast to the Madea and "tough strong Black woman" images being promoted and even often praised in the United States.
Black women who ENJOY being women.

That used to be a goal years ago, but today I have no desire to go to Brazil or anywhere else in Latin America JUST to see attractive women.
For a number of reasons.  2 of which:

1. I used to think Brazil was the spot for hot women and they do have a lot of them however I'm not sure what happened but over the last 15 years or so I've been seeing African women as THEE most attractive women on the planet.  Generally speaking I find the women in Sub-Saharan Africa FAR...and I mean FAR...more attractive than Latina women; including the AfroLatinas.
Which leads me to my 2nd reason.

2. A lot of Latina women, including a lot of AfroLatinas are racist and think they're better than other Black people and are USED to Black men slobbering over them and thinking they're beautiful.  That's becoming a turn off....for real.
I don't want to be around women who think they're better than me or are racist as hell against Black folks, even if they don't mind giving me a little play personally.

That "superior attitude" is a huge turn off.
Too many bruthaz are chasing these non-Black and half-Black women when it really should be the other way around.

Thirsty dudes have gaslit those women into believing they are exotic trophies.

 

It doesn't help that athletes and entertainers parade them around like show ponies.

 

If n8gglets aren't posting up with snow bunnies (white women), the next best thing for them seems to be other non-Black or half-Black women. 

 

Some Black folks do the same thing with pets. Instead of a dog or cat, they wanna walk down the street with a ferret or lizard or snake.

Anyone who's grown up in a Black family knows there is atleast one nigga in the family who's gotta be different simply for different's sake.
No real REASON to be different from the rest...except to stand out, be noticed, and get people to talking....even if it's in a negative way.
If everybody was wearing red at the event...they'd bust up in the room looking like a Crip about to set-trip.

-I know some people who became Republicans JUST so that they could stand out from the rest of Black folks and argue with them and hold themselves as intellectually superior for not being like "them other niggas".

-No offense to you but I know some Black people who declared themselves atheist....but couldn't keep it to themselves....had to declare it every chance they got JUST so they could argue with religious Black folks.

-While all the other boys were getting their hair faded in the back....this ONE dude would get his hair "lined" in the back; looking like somebody taped velcro across his neck.
Why? 
To be "different" and stand out hoping people would talk.
