Capitalism--No Money in Cures or Solving Problems

The USA does very little to decrease the demand for drugs. Follow the money. 

 

Yet, the same  country will criminalize and punish the low-level folks who traffic drugs. Follow the money. 

 

Right now, in another show of force, the US is blowing up fishing boats in international waters near Venezuela under the guise of narco-terrorrism.

 

Approximately 80 people have been unalived as result of military strikes on their boats.

 

Let's be clear...the majority of fentanyl and cocaine coming into the USA  isn't being trafficked on those small azz fishing boats. 

 

Most of the drugs pouring into the USA come from Colombia and Mexico by evey means of transportation...land, sea and air.

 

With money involved, best believe a whole lot of white folks are getting rich from the proceeds of drugs.

 

The US economy benefits significantly from everything associated with selling drugs and its usage from consumerism (cars, houses, clothes, vacation, entertainment, etc.) to medical, legal, judicial and law enforcement.

 

Just as there is no money in curing diseases and ailments, the same goes for eliminating the demand for drugs. Follow the money. 

 

Both the legal drug dealers (pharmaceutical industry) and illegal drug dealers are allowed to thrive at the expense of people being sick, debilitated and/or addicted.

 

A long time ago, it was realized that because they are going to die anyway, humans are expendable. Therefore, it makes most sense to profit from their existence.

 

Human pain and/or suffering is finite due to mortality. However, the money that can be made while folks are living can be recirculated many times over and build wealth.

 

There's no money in cures. Problems are big business especially in a capitalistic society and system thriving on it. Follow the money.

Or is the problem immorality and unethical business practices?
 

We talked about wisdom in another thread.
There's a difference between being CLEVER and being WISE.

We know that the current elite believe there is more money in treating people than curing them.
They think they are clever for building an entire economy on managing the "symptoms" of problems instead of solving them.
 

However WISE people know that there is faaaaar more money and other benefits to be gained in actually curing people and better yet PREVENTING most of these diseases and other problems in the first place.

A healthy stress free society is FAR more productive and innovative.

With the trillions of dollars the leaders of this world have already WASTED trying to reduce the population through diseases, wars, criminalization, and other means....they could have invested that same money in incentivizing people to terraform other planets, EXPAND the human population, and expand the economy which would have yielded TRILLIONS in profits!

The problem is capitalism feeds human greed in such a way that only a small percentage of people get to enjoy a vast amount of wealth.

Apparently, for thousands of years, the wise people have not been able to appeal to the greedy people.

Generating trillions of dollars more would mean greedy people have to share the wealth and they wouldn't have anyone to look down upon if there's no lower class people.

Well, whether or not "greed" is necessarily a bad thing is another subject that deserves a thread of it's own.
Kind of like whether "jealousy" and "insecurity" are necessarily bad, however.......

 

 

The problem is capitalism feeds human greed in such a way that only a small percentage of people get to enjoy a vast amount of wealth. 
 

The pro-Capitalist would argue if it weren't for the system of Capitalism, not only would that small percentage of people not enjoy a vast amount of wealth but NOBODY would enjoy it because the system that produced it wouldn't be around.

They'd stand at you with their hands in their pockets and smile and say,
"This large percentage that you speak of who are not enjoying that wealth wouldn't have been enjoying it ANYWAY, so they shouldn't be jealous and angry over something they wouldn't have had anyway."


Misery tends to love company.
Go to a poor country where EVERYBODY is poor...and most people are smiling and happy and playing music.
As soon as they see you come there with wealth, then the music stops playing and the smiles turn upside down...lol.

Then the kidnapping plots start.
Then the ransom notes get drafted.

It wasn't NOT having it that bothered them.
It's seen YOU WITH IT that bothered them.

TRULY wise people didn't try to...lol.

A person who is TRULY wise knows that a person's vices have a way of consuming them.
They know that if a person is too greedy, given enough time their own greed will lead to their downfall anyway.

America protects them.
So they don't have to spend their money on a military.
