Thursday at 10:19 PM5 days comment_81799 This was our President's reaction to the "murder" of CBS's 60 Minutes. It is hard to ignore and not be outraged by the gutting of journalism here in America. This fact that this is covered as if communicating like this is perfectly normal is surreal!Local journalism is virtually dead, and national news coverage is not far behind. The real problem is few people care because they were never really trained to consume "news." and you can't miss what you never had. Report
Friday at 03:26 AM5 days comment_81802 The handwriting has been om the wall since the Ellisons through Paramount Skydance have been gobbling up mass media companies. Before POTUS OJ leaves office, a lot of news will be right-wing & TV programming will be heavily white nationalistic.Paramount bought BET+ from Tyler Perry. It will be absorbed into Paramount+. I do not foresee Paramount pushing Black content. Hopefully the move to white nationalism will disappear whenever the reign of POTUS OJ ends.😎 Report
Saturday at 12:43 PM4 days comment_81818 I'm surprised you guys have been keeping up with this drama......lol.When I log on shit like this would come across my feed....along with what controversial thing Bill Maher said last night or what Democratic Senator John Fetterman did to double-cross the Democrats again.....and I'd brush right passed it to other news and events.I don't think journalism is dead, it's just being EXPOSED for what it has been for decades....the 4 branch of the government. And just like any other government employee, when journalists try to break rank and go rogue from the agenda or script their "superiors" lay out for them.....they get dealt with. It's easier to curate Black TV shows & movies to a streaming platform than removing Black books from libraries & rewriting Black history.😁😎 Report
