Paramount bought BET+ from Tyler Perry. Supposedly, the content will be absorbed into Paramount+.

BET+ will go.away. I do not foresee Paramount pushing that Black content to their channels.

Yet another example where a Black investment group should have been poised to buy that media outlet.😎

I thought when Spirit Airlines filed for bankruptcy and was on its last legs, this would've been a good opportunity for a black investment group to step in and take it over. There are enough wealthy black entertainers out there to pool their funds and take over ownership of an economy flight airline company.

They could've changed its name from "Spirit" Airlines to "Soul" Airborne.

Byron Allen should've made this a project instead of buying air time from CBS to showcase panels of unknown comedians to fill the late night time slot made available by the termination of Stephen Colbert.

Investment firms are about that paper. Running a platform like BET with Black content and making it profitable is hard. So buying it an reselling it at a higher valuation would to difficult to bother with. I doubt selling off assets would be any more profitable. Basically, it is not a desirable investment.

Admittedly, I do not watch BET+ but I know a lot of people that do.

IMO, Paramount would not have bought BET+ if there was no value there.

Even if BET+ had become a streaming platform with ads, the same people would have watched it. Especially as folks cut the cable.

Soul Airborne could have given Southwest Airlines a run for the money.

Shows you how much I've been keeping up with things....lol.....I thought BET Plus was still owned by Viacom along with the rest of the BET outlets.
I didn't know Tyler Perry had bought it.
