What Elon Musk's trillion means in real terms

Catapulted by the market debut of his rocket company SpaceX, Elon Musk is now the world's first trillionaire.

Looks like Elon Musk is the world's 1st trillionaire. His net worth is greater than several countries combined.

If those rockets keep blowing up on the platform, that net worth will come back down to billions.

Also, about 4, 400 SpaceX employees became instant millions as a result of the IPO (Initial Public Offering).

The 1st trillionaire is the same person who's going to put a whole lot of folks outta work with self-driving vehicles. His wealthy buddies will put folks outta work with AI. 😎

@ ProfD: I was just wishing that some trillionaire would show up and volunteer to build a new all expense free stadium in Chicago so the Bears wouldn't have to settle for one in Hammond Indiana...

The city of Chicago already put a certain amount of money to keep Da Bears in town. They should work it out. Maybe threatening a move to Hammond IN could be a bluff.😁😎

@ProfD Word is that Hammond is pretty much a done deal because property taxes would skyrocket if Chicago took on that project so that made iit a deal breaker.

The Bears did buy property in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, a defunct racetrack race track but that didn't work out..

Oh well, they say it will take 5 years to complete construction on a brand new modern stadium, sooo I won't worry about it.

If we had played our cards right after the the social revolutions of the 60s, AfroAmericans could have been in a position where we owned tremendous amounts of wealth not only in the United States but in Africa and all through out Latin America.

Back in the 60s and 70s we were in a social position where were could have established connections all across the global with people allowing us to freely partake of their abundant resources.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Eldridge Cleaver are 2 immediate examples who come to mind.
They were well known and well respected in the Middle East and the nations overthere probably would have GLADLY shared a portion of their oil and resources with the organizations these men represented.

IMO, under no circumstances could a Black American have become the 1st trillionaire.

Right now, no Black billionaire has accumulated $50 billion dollars or more.

The richest Black billionaire (African) has a net worth of about $28.5 billion dollars.

A white man becoming a trillionaire is a historic feat.

Neither of those men became billionaires. Elijah Muhammad chose to do business with white supremacists instead of building with Middle Easterners & Africans.

To be fair, in the time of Muhammad & Cleaver time, Middle Easterners weren't as wealthy from oil.

White folks facilitated the creation that led to OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries). That made the Arabs wealthy.😎
