Has that SMOKE hit yall down there yet????

Just checking on my brother.
I heard yall are getting a little TASTE of what Michigan has been getting for the past 3 or 4 days....lol.

For those of you living down South or our West, imagine a foggy day.....but the fog is TOXIC and makes your chest tingle, lol.

Yeah, one of my kids lives and works in NYC. Her company handed out masks for people to wear outside. The air quality is categorized as unhealthy, and people are encouraged not to go outside! I lived in NYC most of my life and have never seen anything like this.

Here in central Florida, we are experiencing the effects of Saharan dust similar to Harmattan.

Man made climate change has exacerbated both of these conditions.

Here in West Michigan it has been unusually dry this Spring and Summer and no doubt this is contributing to the situation.

I was out of town when the smoke came this way and we were warned about how bad it was and saw the news, but it wasn't until we we arrived at the airport....AND YOU COULDN'T SEE THE AIRPORT....lol....that we realized how bad it was!

The pilot had to circle around a bunch of times before landing!

As I said, it's way worse than mere fog.
Fog is just visual.
It limits how far you can see but unless you're driving...it's relatively fun and interesting, lol.

This is TOXIC.

After walking around in it for a few minutes it tickles your lungs.
One can only imagine what people with asthma, COPD, and other lung issues are going through.
Many of them are filling up the hospitals.

Find out the smoke is coming from the 51st state...Canada.🤣

Crazy how that sh8t drifts southward. Otherwise, it's all good down here. Not feeling it in the lungs.😎

Looks like Wakanda is protected from the brunt of it.....lol

Michigan was built for that anyway.
100 years ago when most of the car and steel factories were up and running, EVERY DAY looked like that....lol.

It's unfortunate money left Michigan when auto industry out-sourced but smoke stayed.🤣😎
