A 38-year old Memphis mom shot & killed a 20-year old man who she found hiding under her 13-year-old daughter's bed.

Around 1 a.m., the Ring camera on her alerted mom that someone was entering her house. She left work to investigate the situation.

Upon returning home, the mom found a young man hiding under the daughter's bed. In her own words, she "did what she had to do".

There is some belief the daughter met the young man online & invited him over to the house.

It is unfortunate that young man lost his life over some snatchbox.

Also, it is unfortunate that mom may be facing life in prison.

There are no winners regardless of how this situation plays out.

However, the daughter has even more freedom now.

Hope this is a cautionary tale for dudes to stop kicking it with childen.

Never know when a parent or some other adult will have the drop on that pedophilic azz.😎

She needs to be facing life. Her reaction was beyond unreasonable. Her fast little daughter, invited him over and let him in the house him in the house.

The guy had time to gather his things walk out the house and she shoots he in the back of the head and he dies in the front yard!

There are too many people with guns that should not have them. This is a black woman shooting who is almost certainly a young black male. Terrible.

This will definitely test their new stand your ground law. While he was still in the property, being shot in the back of his head does give off exexcution more than self-defense.

Poor decisions were made across the board.

The daughter should not have invited the young man into a lion's den.

The 20-year old young man should not have wanted to bang a 13-year old girl.

Even if the young man didn't know how old she was through online communication, he should have realized it upon showing up & turned around & left immediately.

It has been mentioned that the young man may have been mentally slow. Yet, he had enough sense to communicate online.

The mom was so frustrated with herself as a parent & her inability to keep her daughter in check that she lost it. Now, she has to pay for a decision made in anger.😎

I think all 3 of them share a measure of blame to different degrees.

The man for not using more discretion and seeking sex with a female he possibly knew was underaged.

The woman for overreacting and killing a man who didn't pose an immediate threat to her or her child.

The girl who...although only 13....knew better than to be messing around with adult men.

Dysfunctional to say the least..............

What?! Dude, the woman shot a young man in the back of the head for no good reason. What is he accused of doing, entering a home he was welcomed into?

Tell me you have never went over to a girl’s house when the parents weren’t home. Do you think death is the appropriate response?

Oh, I missed the part that said the guy was 20 but still 20 years old is not old enough to buy a drink. For all we know the 13-year-old was schoolin’ the 20 year-old guy. Maybe they didn’t have sex at all! I can’t imagine anyone would think death is warranted for that situation.

The only one I blame for the murder is the woman and to a lesser extent a culture that allows basically anyone to own a gun.

Obviously, the woman needs help. My only guess is that she lived in entire life in poverty under stress, probably abused or any number of conditions that would’ve resulted in someone murdering someone else in this situation.

I don’t blame the daughter and I definitely don’t blame the dude. How could he have known what kind of hell scape he was getting himself into. If he was indeed slow that only makes things worse.

I don't believe sending the woman to prison for life will solve anything either.

Death was not warranted but that young man had zero bizness hanging out with a 13-year old. There's no shortage of females of legal age in Memphis.

Well, it’s not likely she’ll get sent to prison for life. But getting one psychopath with a gun off the street might for a few years show her better way then again it might make her situation even worse.

Honestly, I have no idea what the right punishment is for her. She made an egregious mistake taking that guy’s life.
