The historic gathering included Askia Toure, Dr. Eugene Redmond, Dr. Maulana Karenga, TWPF founder Dr. Haki R. Madhubuti, Dr. Sonia Sanchez, Kalamu ya Salaam, and Dr. Aminifu R. Harvey.
