Event: Detroit Book City's Juneteenth Books, Poetry & Arts Fair 2018

Description:  This exciting one-day event celebrates "FREEDOM" in the expression of BOOKS, art & spoken word - - at the family level. 
Spectators will buy from African-American Indie book authors of adult and children's books, self-produced spoken word artists,

and hand-crafted artisans who create paintings, drawings, ceramics, croquet knits, candles, beauty products, jewelry & more... 

You'll also enjoy LIVE, interactive children storytelling, LIVE spoken-word performances, KIDZONE, FREE health screenings & musical sounds by DJ Holly.  Bring your family, church members, book club, youth group, school, neighbors, girlfriends, sport teams... EVERYONE IS INVITED!!

We are NOW accepting the following exhibitors: Book Authors, Spoken-Word Artists, Visual Artists, Artisans and Tasty, Edible Vendors. Food Vendors must obtain a 1-Day Food Permit from the City of Detroit. Here's the application link:

All Exhibitors are provided with 1 table, 2 chairs & exhibitor badge. No electricity is provided. Vendors can bring their own 8' x 8' ONLY Tents, at your discretion.

This event is in addition to the African-American Family Book Expo.  We host 2 Mega book events per year for the bookstore.  Thanks.
