Yeah,  there was a kid in my neighborhood who could do a double back somersault on concrete too.  I though that was nuts!  You have to be extremely good and fearless to do that. Concrete is unforgiving.

I remember watching boys climb up on top of garages and do flips off of them...and adults would watch them do it, laid back with a bottle of malt liquor in their laps,
