You can't, other people do that for you.

Intelligence is great when it comes to conversation and personal achievement and accomplishment and validation. 

 

However, as an old man, I'm less impressed with individual intelligence and hopeful that collective intelligence will enable us to do a better job of taking care of each other as human beings. 😎

Too many humans are wedded to the concept of superiority. If you can avoid these feelings and more importantly refrain from acting on them, I think you're ahead in the game.

But as Delano noted, others will decide if they feel you are intelligent. The trick is to avoid the ignorant and the hateful.
