Peony Shaw’s sister, Caroline, has just died. Looking for comfort during this difficult time, Peony calls upon her daughters, Violet, Lily, Ivy, and Jasmine—the flowers in her life. When they are summoned, none of her daughters hesitates to travel home to North Carolina. Beyond celebrating the life of their beloved aunt and offering comfort to their grieving mother, however, each woman has her own reason for wanting to come home.
