Andrews is currently [2021] a professor of English and Humanities at Estrella Mountain College in Avondale, AZ. In 2009 he received the Student Advocate Award for Excellence due to his exemplary contributions to students and the community. Another honor he received in 2018 was the Maricopa Community College District Outstanding Teaching Award.
