Greg Tate

Greg Tate (October 15, 1957 – December 7, 2021) was a writer, musician, and producer. The focus of his writing has been African-American music and culture. He is a founding member of the Black Rock Coalition and the leader of Burnt Sugar.

Tate’s mother, Florence Louise Tate, was an important civil rights activist.
