Keona K. Ervin
Biography
Keona K. Ervin is a professor of African‑American history at the University of Missouri and faculty affiliate in Black Studies. She authored the award‑winning book Gateway to Equality: Black Women and the Struggle for Economic Justice in St. Louis (2017), which won the 2018 Missouri History Book Award. Her research focuses on working‑class Black women’s activism in the U.S. and contributions to labor and civil rights history.
