Sheryl Huggins Salomon
Sheryl Huggins Salomon is a veteran journalist and digital media professional. Time Inc., The Washington Post Company, AOL, Dow Jones and Interactive One are among the media companies to which she has lent her talents as a content creator and leader over the years.
Currently Sheryl is the principal of Media Adept, which provides digital media consulting and editorial services. Current and past clients include the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, TheRoot.com, Interactive One and Davenport University.
Sheryl has been managing editor of TheRoot.com and of Black Voices at AOL; editorial director of NewsOne.com; vice president and editor-in-chief of NiaOnline.com; president and publisher of Shade Magazine and ShadeWeb, among other positions held during her career in media. In addition to Media Adept, she is currently a senior editor-at-large at TheRoot.com and a contributor to Ebony.com.
