T. Friday was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 36, she is the mother of five children. At a very early age, T. Friday fell in love with reading series such as Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley High, and Goosebumps. In her early teens, she was introduced to urban fiction with books by Donald Goines and knew she wanted a career in the book industry.
In January 2016, T. Friday had her left leg amputated, and that was when she realized that she had been taking her life for granted and it was time to make her dreams come true. She picked up a pen and some paper and started writing. T. Friday signed her first contract with Racquel Williams of Racquel Williams Presents in 2017. She is the author of more than 20 books, and she has plans to continue writing until one day all of her books are turned into movies.
