Our mission runs parallel to that of UBU, the umbrella organization under which the book club was organized. The book club’s focus; however, is to provide a forum through which women can gather to engage in thought-provoking discussions of writing relevant to our lives and to the times in which we live.
A dual purpose (which is inevitably served) is the growth and strengthening of each woman’s inner circle. Through sharing and listening to other’s experiences, we can’t help but to be more loving, more generous and more grateful for the simple blessings from our Heavenly Father. The UBU Book Club is indeed a book club, but it’s so much more…and that more is what enriches us so greatly.
