aPOOO (A Place Of Our Own) from Harrisburg, PA

aPOOO is an on-line Internet group which is by invitation only and primarily composed of AA book reviewers from Amazon.com who enjoy reading books by and about African Americans. aPOOO is comprised of sistahfriends who meet once a month and discuss a variety of topics ...some of which actually are related to the book itself. We're an informal group of fun-loving, book-loving folks who want a place to meet and chat with others about books we are reading, books we want to read, books we have read, and anything else that might have to do with books and we will exchange thoughts about life in general. We will have a monthly group read, but it is not mandatory. First and Foremost this Group is Casual, Relaxed and About Having Fun! We Try Not To Take Ourselves or Life Too Seriously.
