FBI - ELITE (For Black Intellects - Elite) from Philadelphia, PA

Club F.B.I.-Elite (For Black Intellects - Elite) is a book club of friends and loyal novel readers, professional in stature and nine members strong, who enjoy regular collaboration of novels penned by African-American authors. Our readings are not limited to any specific author since each writer has their own individual artistic expression. We read fiction, non-fiction, autobiographies as well as attend poetry readings. We meet once a month at in-house gatherings and various restaurants as a change of venue. Since enlightenment is a requirement of our members it is mandatory that we engage in attending book signings, plays, city events and structured cultural events. Our membership is by invitation only and includes serious, dedicated readers. All members must be capable of participating in a serious discussion of the selected monthly reading. We enjoy fellowship and the opportunity of self-expression.
