Pioneer1 replied to aka Contrarian's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Troy well, we were talking about racism. The self hatred part is a strawman, but that’s OK. We’ll run with that too. Yes we WERE talking about racism, but when I mentioned: " Not only have I seen elements of "colorism" and "featurism" among THEM that they've picked up from other AfroAmerican kids raised in a household without love for self" You used that illustration I gave as an example of how RACISM is picked up. That wasn't an example of how RACISM is picked up.....it's an example of how COLORISM/FEATURISM is picked up. There's a difference. Just because someone straightens their hair in 2025 America doesn’t mean they hate themselves. They’re all victims of marketing strategies Black people straighten their hair white people curl their hair and all racist dies their hair blonde. No, JUST because a person straightens their hair it doesn't mean they hate themselves....but it's often a SYMPTOM or SIGN that they do. If a Black person with kinky hair DID hate the way they looked and hated their hair...that's one of the things they'd do! Just like a man kissing another man doesn't necessarily mean he's gay.....but IF HE WAS gay....that's a sign that he is, lol. Further.... It's not JUST Black people straightening their hair that's an issue but them also dying it blonde. These are clear indicators that they aren't happy with their natural features. Disgusting......... Does she really think this makes her look better???? Speaking of White people.... Plenty of White people hate themselves and actually want to be WHITER and more ANGLO...so they'll dye their brunette or brown hair blonde or red. I would ignore everything you see on social media is designed to inflame you not inform you Donald Trump didn't get elected as president of Instagram. He was elected President of the UNITED STATES. They aren't sending ICE out to find out who's illegally using Meta or X and cancelling their accounts. They are out here in force in real life snatching people up off the streets. This is bigger than social media, my man. -

We cannot determine what is unreasonable for another group of people depending on their circumstances, situation and/or experiences. The short answer is...I don't know. -

Well, the way some groups of people might feel is unreasonable. I ask you, ProfD would you rather be a brother living in America in 2025 or 1825? Most white folks don’t either. This is probably true. But it seems to me most of the times when there’s a mass shooting white folks are shooting another white folks. well, we were talking about racism. The self hatred part is a strawman, but that’s OK. We’ll run with that too. Just because someone straightens their hair in 2025 America doesn’t mean they hate themselves. They’re all victims of marketing strategies Black people straighten their hair white people curl their hair and all racist dies their hair blonde. This is the alarmist, perhaps is bed by the stuff you can consume on social media. But as you engage with white people in the real world, do you feel that white people are getting more racist? Did you see the way so many white people reacted on the hills of George Floyd‘s murder? I would go into all white neighborhoods and see nothing but Black Lives Matter signs. I would ignore everything you see on social media is designed to inflame you not inform you - Today

Nickie Minaj got a whole body make over to achieve an "hour glass" figure(explain that phrase to the jive ass nigga ), so is it any wonder she is re-thinking her identity? She's like Dominican Sammy Sousa, the Chicago Cub baseball star who showed up for spring training one year, barely recognizable because he had turned himself into a blue eyed white guy. -

@Pioneer1 For some body who imagines himself a "teacher" , you're really a dumb ass. You excel at being irrelevant, but your dense mind can't grasp anything that requires deductive thinking because you're so narrow-minded. No wonder you're a loser. "Well, at least I'm good at cuttin and pastin what you say. Not my fault if I'm not an original thinker. And don't forget I can post a lot of warmed over tripe from ol jive ass blaxploitation movies. Gimme a little credit."

I'd imagine birds would stop flying south during winter months if predators held welcome signs and ate them. -
And here we have the mugshot of that jive assed pervert Pioneer who got arrested for stalking actor, Idris Elba. "Looks like it's back to the stables for me. I hate that, cuz my cellmate is really a well-hung black stud."

"In the real world, I am a widowed mother of 5, grandmother of 7, great grandmotherk of 8, family members of whom know very little about Nana's on-line activity; too wrapped up in their own pursuits. They just know she surfs the internet, amusing herself by engaging in various activities"

You might as well suggest that birds stop FLYING SOUTH for the winter and instead put in more time and effort building better nests to withstand the cold....lol. -

Which makes zero sense when they have whole countries of their own. It would make more sense to put their energy and resources into building paradise at *home*. FBA/AfroAmericans don't have the luxury or benefit of another homeland. We were born here. Sure. There have been and will always be lost souls among our people. Genetic PTSD and confinement has driven them crazy. -
Right. Those same people have been voting against their own interests for generations. People are funny. They will sacrifice their long-term needs in favor of their immediate ignorance, wants and desires. Even it kills them.

A few groups of people might feel differently: 1) Black folks who don't own or control anything 2) Deportees who are mostly non-white 3) Cities under National Guard watch 4) DEI hired and fired The authors of Project 2025 know that white folks are on track to becoming the majority-minority in the US. Majority-minority meaning white folks will still be single largest race of people in the country but out-numbered by the total population of non-white folks. That statistic is bothersome to white folks but not a whole problem with the population numbers as long as they still own and control everything to include the levers of power. The other thing is having control of the military and aspects of it. If white folks ever feel threatened by other groups of people, they can easily put down anything they fear. First, white folks in America have more guns as private citizens than all countries on the planet combined. The white American citizenry is more heavily armed than militaries of other countries. Also, I believe that is their main reason for playing games with the National Guard in these cities. The exercise is to see how quickly they can mobilize and have boots in the ground in a city if something pops off. IMO, racism is not on the decline in America. It is shape-shifting to seem less obvious. The objective of the white patriarchy is to take America back to a time before the 1960s but remixed like a song. -

Actually, this is a pretty interesting observation. It's something to think about! @harry brown Apparently some of our Black preachers are so good at pimping from the pulpit and taking advantage of people that a lot of White men have studied and taken notes. A rather FAMOUS one who did this and took it to another level........... People should take interest in the fact that the vast majority of Jim Jones' followers were BLACK. .....despite the fact that he would routinely use the word "nigger" (with the hard "r") and talk about his homosexual engagements in his sermons! -
What's particularly disturbing is how so many average American citizens who NEED Universal Healthcare aren't even concerned about it and don't even want to talk about it. Some people are very sick and have HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars worth of medical bills, but they're more focused on Instagram wars or Reality TV shows or even immigration and cheering for who's going to get locked up next....ignoring their own suffering.

ProfD I think non-FBA's are MORE likely to crave White acceptance. They are in America which is mostly still controlled by Whites so....they think they're making the intelligent choice by aligning themselves with whichever organizations will offer them more benefits. But don't forget we still have a lot of HOME GROWN tap-dancers and coons among our own....lol. From Kanye West to Clarence Thomas to the buck-toof clown down in South Carolina...lol. -

The *us* they are referring to is rich people. Let Black folks make a lot of money and they will double-down in trying to gain white acceptance. Also, Nicki Minaj and Candace Owens and most of the *Black* folks who fancy themselves as conservatives have something in common. Folks who are not of FBA/AfroAmerican lineage crave white acceptance. -
Neither party wants Universal Healthcare. It is not a money-maker for the wealthy. Both parties are working to keep private insurance companies and big pharma racking in the dough. The GOP aren't even offering a healthcare plan. Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same coin especially when it comes enriching their wealthy donors by way of fleecing the American people out of money.

Hey y'all. Not only am I a jive assed nigga, I'm a black supremist bigot, full of self love even if I ain't shit and have no status or influence anywhere, - which might be why they call me a loser and dismiss most everything I say. Don't matter. I luv my people. They better than all of the other human species. 'Specially us bruthas. If we could just unite under my leadership and let me control the narrative and screw whichever fine sista I pick out, we black folks could take our rightful place in America, - right behind those white Mfers who keep on out doin us. Gotta go clean the latrines now. Check ya later. -

I wouldn't get with Nicki Minaj if she THREW herself at me because she looks fake as hell. And she's especially unattractive with remarks like this: She said she can "relate" to them. She says this Administration is one of "us". Who are the "us" that she's referring to???? -
I don't blame 'em because I'M still blaming Obama and the Democrats over Obamacare too...lol. It was nothing but a GIVE AWAY to the insurance companies. A disaster waiting to happen. First they got rid of the public option.....I knew it was a wrap then. Then they made it MANDATORY that you had to get it....ensuring guaranteed customers for private insurance companies. It actually was a REPUBLICAN so-called "health care" plan that Democrats decided to run with instead of pushing for Universal Healthcare, which is what the Democrat base....and I believe most Americans....actually wanted. And just like Republicans are blaming the Democrats....at that time Obama and the Democrats were in full power of both the Whitehouse and Congress but BLAMED THE REPUBLICANS or rather used them as an excuse for not even considering a single payer healthcare system.

Troy Well, then you see that they had to learn it. It wasn’t something that was innate. You're using my example to conflate two separate problems: Racism and Self-Hatred The problem that many of my children's AFRO-AMERICAN and AFRICAN (yes...a few have come over) friends have that influence them to love light skin over dark, love straight or wavy hair over kinky, love green/blue eyes over black.....is SELF HATRED. The problem that many of my children's WHITE and LATINO friends have that influence them them to think they and their families and their cultures and their cultural accomplishments are better than ours.....is RACISM. Most forms of racism have to be taught, but not always...some of it is innate. Self-hatred ALWAYS has to be taught or indoctrinated....it's not natural or innate at all. Two of those children were partially raised in the Detroit area in a Black community and went to Black schools and when we moved to West Michigan and they started going to mixed schools they eventually hated it. Although the Detroit area schools had less resources and there were more fights and chances for serious violence, they had more Black teachers and could relate to the other students better and there was more "Black consciousness" in the environment like more soul food joints and other activities for them to engage in. Donald Trump is a bump in the road, an aberration and it’s not reflective of their overall societal trend. He's a catharsis. He was elected because a large percentage of people DO feel the way he does and agrees with what he says, they just are afraid to say it. They'd rather him do their dirty work. — of course things are improving. Are you kidding? You say things ARE improving....I say things WERE improving. But since the 2000 Elections when Bush made his way into office, race relations in society started declining. No, they're aren't as bad as Chattel Slavery or Jim Crow....yet....but they're headed in that direction again. -

Look within the lifetimes of people alive today Black people’s basic civil rights were legally taken away, 100 years ago we were actively being lynched by hooded Demons, had an entire communities massacred and burned to the ground. 150 years ago we were legally enslaved, and people were taught that the Bible and science justified this — of course things are improving. Are you kidding?
