  1. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13986225/Spike-Lee-black-men-support-vote-Kamala-Harris.html Looks like the Democrats are pulling out all stumps,, er, stops to encourage Black men to vote for VP Harris. POTUS Obama, Magic Johnson, actor Wendell Pierce and now filmmaker Spike Lee are wagging their proverbial fingers at Black men. I still find it comical that nobody is telling any other group of men they'd better vote. It's all about the *Black* vote. Nevermind they aren't offering Black folks anything in return. No money or policy. Spike Lee is from NY. He already knows better.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. Right. Truly irreparable damage that's irreconcilable has to be written off like a bad debt. Those parties should remain separated by all means. My point was that the wife asks for a bigger ring or something else or money as the apology. Civil litigation in the US would beg to differ. Multimillion dollar settlements have repaired many problems here.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  3. @Pioneer1, that response made my Saturday.๐Ÿคฃ Folks can front and sleep on old man NF Jr. but some of his teachings were on point. Especially his delivery on the subject. I could hear NF jr.'s voice as I was reading what you wrote. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. First, I still beiieve culture = codification. Especially as it relates to the women. Most folks stick to their own group. White men have a privilege and status having conquered the world. As a result, they have access to a buffet of women. The propaganda against AfroAmerican Black men specifically was spread around the world a long time ago. The media still works overtime in how it portrays AfroAmerican men. Talk to any non-FBA/ADOS person and if they're honest, they will tell you that AfroAmerican men have been demonized in such a way that makes us forbidden fruit. AfroAmerican men have been personified as that apple in the garden of Eden. AfroAmerican men would have to change the perception spread about us in order to have easier access to other snatch boxes. As I mentioned in the other thread, good luck changing the narrative if that is a goal/objective.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. If ALL you want is an apology, like Neely Fuller Jr. says...White racists have a TRUCK LOAD of apologies...lol. Oh you want an apology? Is THAT all you want from me??? Hold on, let me go in the back room and see how many apologies we have left in stock! Well hell, how do you want it served? Hot or cold? Do you want some FRIES to go with that apology? (You're better off taking the fries and leaving the apology with him for what it's worth...lol) Here nigger...sign this... Congratulations! Neely Fuller said there are 3 things you don't ask for: 1. An apology 2. Somebody's love 3. Respect Like the professor said, we want TANGIBLES....muthafuck an "apology".
  6. @ProfD: These reluctant black male voters would be whining and sulking if they were being ignored and written off. When approached about joining a crusade to ward off the kind of dictatorship that Trump is just salivating to turn America into, all these smug brothas can think about is asking what's in it for them. The answer to that quiery is: a country that will have staved off a theocratic fascistic take over. And just for the record, John Legizamo, Geoge Lopez and Rosie Perez have been urging Hispanics to support Kamala. And the female vote is also being solicited by prominent women from all sectors to gain support for Roe vs Wade. I hate to burst their inflated sense of importance, but these obstinate black men aren't the only ones being asked to volunteer their vote. When Obama was running for POTUS, nobody had to put their foot up the asses of black women to gain their support. They were eager to help him get elected, not looking for anything in return, just glad to participate in a quest for the common good. Not so with these black men, many of whom are the same ones who quickly became disillusioned with Obama because he couldn't overthrow institutionalized racism or overcome a Republican-dominated senate. All of this is just one more reason why I was not enthusiastic about Kamala's candicacy. As I feared, she is being held to a much higher standard than a man. Trump's flaws are overlooked because people identify with his vulgar, petty, incompetence, but as a woman running for president, Kamala Harris is punished for not being perfect. I will be pleasantly surprised if she wins. I can only hope...
  7. Agreed. Most apologies aren't worth the paper written on or out of the mouth uttered. The only real apology is tangible compensation paid to the victim(s) according to their demands. It's similar to a cheating husband having to buy his wife a bigger diamond ring. Keep the apologies. Cut the checks.๐Ÿ˜Ž
