It was the largest antebellum mansion in the south. Of course, it's been a long time since 150 Black folks were enslaved at Nottoway. Surely, none of the descendants will be shedding tears over the destroyed structure. The owners claim they're going to rebuild it. Hopefully, they won't be able to do it and haven't salvaged any relics or memorabilia from the past. Good riddance.😎
