  1. Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries is powerless. He can't do much of anything right now. Some Black folks are just happy folks like Rep. Jeffries are sitting in the seat and have the *job*. Democrats are definitely pathetic and rudder-less at this point. Democrats don't have enough power in congress to make any differences. Never really flexed power when they had it. The Congressional Black Caucus has never passed legislation to benefit and/or protect Black folks. No bills for reparations, anti-hate crime or police reform. Democrats will need a makeover in leadership and a policy agenda in order to unseat the GOP. Right now, the GOP has the driver's wheel. POTUS OJ and the gang are driving roughshod over everything and flexing their power. Democrats have been reduced to whining, petty insults and feckless obstruction. The midterms will be telling. If the GOP maintains its majority, they could be running the country for a decade or longer.😎
