About Me

I am Chicago born and bred. I have recently transplanted to Bloomington, Illinois. I've always surrounded myself with books. I worked at independent book stores for over 15 years.. My longest stint was at The Seminary Coop Bookstore in the heart of the University of Chicago campus. I am  currently a fiction writer. The written word is the way I reach people. I have written a book called Show Your Hands.  It's a love story of a young lady who came of age during the pandemic. It's also a story about gentrification and the changes that are soon to happen to our society. Change is inevitable. The problem is, we are already being spoken for. None of these changes aren't being decided by us and they are not for our benefit.
