  1. It's interesting to come back to this discussion a few years later because the industry looks quite different now. Back in 2022 there was a lot of speculation about whether Microsoft's acquisitions would completely reshape the console market. Since then, the Activision Blizzard deal has gone through, Bethesda has released games under Microsoft's ownership, and Game Pass has become an even bigger part of the Xbox strategy. At the same time, Sony hasn't exactly stood still. PlayStation continues to have some of the strongest first-party studios in the industry, and those exclusives remain one of the biggest reasons people choose the platform. Nintendo has also continued doing what Nintendo always does by focusing on its own franchises and unique hardware rather than trying to compete on technical specifications alone. I also think the conversation has shifted away from simply asking which console is "winning." Today it's much more about ecosystems, subscriptions, PC gaming, cloud gaming, and cross-platform releases. Microsoft has even started bringing some of its own games to other platforms, which is something many people wouldn't have predicted back when this thread was created. Looking back, I don't think anyone really "won" in the way people expected. Instead, each company has followed a different strategy that seems to be working for its audience. Competition is still intense, but it's no longer just about selling the most consoles. It's about building long-term communities, services, and game libraries, and I think that's been one of the biggest changes over the last few years.
  2. I get what you mean, and I agree that people shouldn’t treat AI as something that’s automatically right. It can be useful for quick research, brainstorming, or saving time, but it definitely makes mistakes and sometimes presents wrong information very confidently. That’s why I think critical thinking matters even more now. Personally, I see AI as a tool that can support people, but I don’t think it should replace human judgment, creativity, or real interaction. The technology itself isn’t necessarily bad, but overreliance on it could definitely become a problem.
  3. I've always been more into sports games, but now I'm discovering new games. Tactical games are interesting, and they really make you think I've already tried Sins Of A Solar Empire and it's really interesting game
