About Me

RestaurantWinners.com RestaurantWinners.Hi all.

I'm from Indianapolis,IN where I've been a foodservice entrepreneur over 16 years. Prior to that I was in medical sales with a territory in Brooklyn, NY and later back in Indy. I attended Dillard University in New Orleans where I majored in business and of course, fell in love with the food. I've lived in the Midwest the majority of my life with the exception of a short stint in Oakland as a child and the aforementioned New York in the early 90's.

I've self-published a book geared toward soon-to-be (or current) entrepreneurs called Restaurant Winners.  There is a blog on Wordpress of the same name.  The subject matter revolves around the food business which I've always found fascinating but the broader focus is on ownership and economic independence.   Like it is said I was striving to write the book I couldn't find.

I personally enjoy fiction, history, and bio/autobiographies. We're all aware of the enduring problems that sadly aren't going away and with that said we need more business books! My goal is to include discussions that are critical to the destiny of our community and that's economic empowerment. I attempt to make my writing fun yet focused and interesting for the layperson. I am also still learning as I go like most people.

Congratulations to each and every author and avid reader on keeping our voices heard.  Look forward to chatting with you.
