AALBC Mourns the Passing of Dexter Scott King

Featured Replies

I met Dexter King once. He was honored by Syracuse University, some years ago.

Interestingly, I also saw, but did not meet, his mom Corretta Scott King and his grand-father Daddy King speak at Syracuse University.  Not too shabby for an HWCU--despite the craziness going on there today.

Cancer sucks.👎🏿

Otherwise, it seems he was able to live a relatively normal life. RIP Dexter King.😎

hwcu:)

may he rest in peace, sad he didn't have children

May our beloved brother Dexter rest in peace and power.

I'm sure the good Reverend Doctor was there to greet him and is helping him Transition into that wonderful World of Peace.

From what I've read, he had no children.
That often makes the Transition easier not having to think about what your children or grandchildren will do without you, having to come back and console them, or them constantly calling out your name in grief.
