To Grey Or Not To Grey: A Question For The Ladies

Most of you ladies on here seem to be over 40 years old, but some others of you may be in your 20s and 30s.
I have a question for you and I'd like you to be TOTALLY honest.
Straight up and down.

I'm talking about in terms of pure SEXUAL attraction; not maturity, status, looking responsible, etc...but in terms of somebody you'd hop in bed with...lol.

How do you feel about grey (white) hair on a man?

I'm talking about on top of the head AND/OR in the beard?

In other words, if all the other physical factors were the same....would it make a difference if a man's hair was dark, salt-n-pepper, or full grey?

Would he be MORE attractive with dark, salt-n-pepper, or full grey hair?

Would he be LESS attractive with dark, salt-n-pepper, or full grey hair?

And when you were in your 20s and 30s...how did you feel about men with grey/white hair?
Did it make a man seem less sexually attractive to you all factors the same?


I usually keep a clean shave and let the stubbles grow out from time to time to give my skin time to rejuvenate, but I'm thinking about rocking a full beard.

I've been asking this off-line and on-line for weeks now...lol.
Most of the responses have been similar, but I keep asking because I'm skeptical of the responses for some reason....lol.

Men, if you're rocking grey or fully white hair...feel free to chime in on your experiences.

Well, I thought it was a good question.  Years ago, I dyed my goatee, but I'm too lazy/cheap to keep it up. 

 

I wear a goatee, because every woman I've asked said they prefer me with one.  Sometimes the comment was unsolicited. I was clean shaven for years including my head prior to that. 

 

I have no idea what the color of the hair on my head is or what the hair line looks like.  I'm sure if I grew it in it would age me by two decades

Personally, I've had a salt & pepper goatee for a decade or so. I've been bald since the mid-1990s.

The women who show up on my team claim they dig the mature, distinguished gentleman look.

 

Mature women are fine with salt & pepper or gray or white hair as long as it's well groomed.

 

Otherwise, the real color is green. All types of women find it attractive.

 

Unless there's a reason to build some type of relationship, if all you really want to do is bed a woman, ask her directly, how much it would cost to press that snatch box.

The problem with dying facial hair is that it grows back too quickly.

I've never really been attracted to younger women so what they think of how I look hasn't mattered to me.

 

Since I've been an adult, I've always loved older women myself.
However I'm seeing a lot of women in their 30s who are mature mentally and there is a genuine attraction despite the age difference.
Some women are just MATURE whether they're 30 or 60.
They know how to act.

Sure. Regardless of how the question is asked, the bottom line is to be direct. 

 

Most importantly, wait for the answer and don't interrupt.

 

No beating around the bush.  Don't waste time and money on unproductive dates.   

 

If a woman isn't mutually attracted, spending resources on her is about as productive as buying lottery tickets.

I realize you're a literal dude. The advice applies specifically to situations where a man just wants to hit it. 

 

Building a relationship requires a different approach that includes communication and resources (time and money).

 

However, when it comes to approaching any woman, confidence is the common denominator. Confident men finish first.

Hummm. I, for one, have better things to do than to try and picture what kind of facial hair I prefer on a man. As if men would even be interested in the opinion of somebody my age who is out of the loop. To come up with an opinion, I have to go back in time to the days when I gave a damn about what men looked like....

Just for the record, I'm not big on facial hair. Neat mustaches, fine. close shaven VanDykes and goatees, okay, bushy or shaggy full-grown beards, - not so much. Solid dark color. preferred. Anything else a distraction because I simply don't like the wolf man effect of facial hair. My personal preference: clean shaven. I know  I'm out of step with what is currently very popular. It's like guys nowadays take great pride in being able to  grow a beard and like being envied by those who can't.

 

As for the sub topic about the virtues and rewards of "confident" men... Again, back in the day, -  I always gravitated toward the laid-back understated type; even a tad self-depricating. wry wit a plus.  More often than not, these types had the most going for them, intellectually.  To me,  it was a compliment if one of them tried to seduce me.

Oh well. Chevedove and Mel, you can chime in. I'm going  back to fretting over how too much of my energy is being  consumed by despising Retrumpican MAGAs, - black ones in particular.

Again, it's not about directly offering money. It's about asking questions.

Two problems for some men are 1) driven by physical needs and 2 ) lack of swag and sensuality.

 

Those types of men trying to get attention from a woman who isn't attracted to them will have need something else to lure her i.e. money, handyman skills, connections, etc.

 

I believe men are better off dealing with women who fit within their means. Mutual attraction goes a long way.

I cheated. I scrolled down to see if @aka Contrarian had responded. So now, I might be biased and bend towards her opinion. 

 

Anyway, I am not interested in the facial hair being an attraction for me, with the exception of my husband, when he doesn't get on my nerves. 

 

For years, he had no facial hair. When he decided to grow facial hair, it took him a year of agitating his face and filling in with an eyebrow and then he finally did.

So, I am accustomed to seeing him without much facial hair, but now, he will grow a little bit of a pepper colored facial hair. 

My sons too, don't grow that much facial hair, but they have done so sometimes. 

I think that a man may or may not look good with it, but it depends on the individual person in how they are attractive with it or not, imo.
