I know someone whose image was used in AI video promoting a wide variety of scams without their permission.  There are dozens of videos. So far each of them has gotten FAR more engagement than anything they have posted themselves thanks to the social media platforms were the videos were posted.  The videos are very convincing -- I know the person very well, so I know they are bogus.  The videos are shared with her friends some of whom will be dupped.

Because Google is putting AL generated content (content created by websites like AALBC) on their search engine results page, in addition their ads, and their own content people are visiting websites less often.  My traffic from Google search queries is down 60%.  This by itself is the end of the WWW wide web as we know it.  Seriously, say goodbye.

YouTube is already overrun by AI generated content.  Google does not care because they can serve more advertising and people just like the scandalous and salacious content.

I thought social media was bad, but AI will certainly kill the WWW.  The main problem is that the wealth generated from all of this will go into the hands of a few people.  It is hard to believe but wealth inequality will actually get worse!

Black people will remain clueless because we simply don't have any platforms large enough, with the inclination, to cover any of this tragic situation.

This actually can go both ways.

Because of AI scamming and deception, almost any digital evidence of a crime from fraud to murder COULD be questioned and possibly dismissed in court by being labeled "false AI generated content"

Rap mogul Suge Knight pleads not guilty to murder | CNN

"But see....
That shit wudden't me though.
That was a false GENERATED image of me
smashing the gas on his punk ass."

Possibly, it will make things far more difficult as the technology improves.

The guy Suge hit with his car died?

Yep. AI will force more humans to develop marketable skills and talent. People will truly have to earn their living.

No more sitting in corner offices or working from home and twiddling thumbs.

Trades  and blue collar jobs will come back in order to build and maintain data centers and other facilities required to house the computers required to power AI and crypto-currency.

As I've mentioned several times, the United States (US) will need a Universal Basic Income (UBI) to provide citizens with enough money to survive.

AI as a tool is great but the way it will be manipulated and exploited won't bode well for a whole lot of people.😎

AI is a great tool and if used for good will dramatically raise productivity and make it possible for all of us to enjoy as HIGH basic income.   But again, I doubt that will happen Elon and his ilk will begin trillionaires (literally) and the rest of us will be struggling, blaming immigrants and the woke mob.

@Troy

well, the answer to your question

I did not see anything in the content you shared that does not support what I wrote.  What was it @richardmurray that gave you a reason to believe thing will be better?

i will say after I state four things

1. we both know you gave your position and your reasoning

2. we both know I commented my position and gave my reasoning

3. we both know you interpreted my reasoning as supporting your own , not supporting mine.

4. we both know you know my reasoning still holds true for me

so to answer your question, I have nothing more to say. I am not a proselytizer, and I am not repeating what I wrote.

This presumes I was able to interpret what you wrote. I wasn’t, so I requested a clarification. you rejected the request. So this is not true.

@Troy

you said the following

I did not see anything in the content you shared that does not support what I wrote.

which means whatever you did or did not interpret, you didn't comprehend my position from my supporting statements while you clearly interpreted in some way what I shared supported your position . yes? tell the truth now.

And you continue

I didn't assume anything, your words stated you interpreted what I wrote as supporting your own position.  If not in full, in part, or in absence. yes? tell the truth now.

You did ask for more clarity, to be more clear,  but I spoke in common language.  I think i wasn't vague in any way. I can't be more clearer in my own mind but I offer you to read it again as many times as needed until you can achieve the clarity you are searching for which I can not provide.

Know this I comprehend your position and don't see your position as supporting mine, while I also still comprehend  my own position and don't see it as supporting yours. I think the language in both positions is simple and clear. And I am content with the existence of both. Experience which only comes through time will deliver who is correct or true, both positions are only assumption until history was.

I'm not too familiar with the case.
I knew he went on trial and was serving time for something.

I'm presuming the man actually DID die given the heading of the news story, though.

@pioneer I could have look it up too…

@richarch, OK. It is interesting how much verbiage you devoted to explaining why you won’t provide clarification. it seems to me the clarification, would’ve required much less effort.

The man died.  I believe Suge is stretched out for vehicular or involuntary manslaughter and parole violation.

Suge Knight is another example of one of those Black men who made it but he could not tame that hood mentality.

The same thing that made Suge successful led to his downfall too.

D8mn shame Death Row records went from a $100 million dollar company to being auctioned off for $24 million dollars.😎

@Troy I concur, i would had copy and pasted what I wrote for clarification. If you didn't comprehend I would had copy and pasted again. I figured I didn't need to do that, not because it would had taken less effort but because it was unnecessary as you already know what I wrote.  But I did need to clarify , how I interpreted your penultimate reply to me, in which we again differed in interpretation or clarity something else.
