ProfD Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 https://www.blackenterprise.com/jasmine-crockett-lets-stephen-a-smith-know-she-heard-him/ Loud mouth sports *journalist*, ESPN talk show host and podcaster, Stephen A. Smith has been throwing shade at Rep. Jasmine Crockett. Smith seems to be angling to make the jump from sports talk to politics. Some folks have asked if he plans to run for POTUS. Rep. Crockett has been the most outspoken critic of the current administration among her peers. This young Black woman has more spine than the entire Democratic party. Nonetheless, it is a very bad look for Stephen A. Smith to use his platform to criticize Rep. Crockett. Not because she's a Black woman. Simply because she's a Black person. Whatever self-hating issues Stephen A. Smith has towards Black women, he has more than enough money to seek help. Black folks especially those in high-visibility positions should not be airing their grievances against each other through white media. White folks take glee in all forms od Black dysfunction and turmoil. It is entertainment to them. We should not be giving them kindling, lighter fluid and matches. Black men really have a responsibility to check Stephen A. Smith. Just to let him know it isn't cool to throw shade at other Black folks in public. Surely, Stephen A. Smith can get a meeting with Rep. Jasmine Crockett to express his concerns with her communication style and/or job performance. Whatever the case, Black folks should not beef through white media. Keep those folks out of our bizness by any means necessary.
aka Contrarian Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Stephen Smith is a typical "jive assed nigga talkin smack"! He doesnt stand a chance in hell of becoming POTUS. Just another wanna be, full of self importance. He's so ego centric and full of BS, however, he might make it as a politician conning his constituency. 1
ProfD Posted Tuesday at 03:48 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 03:48 PM Stephen A. Smith is that Black man who has unabashedly sold out. He's proudly admitted that his job is to make money for his white paymasters. I'd imagine that if he was back in slavery, this dude would have strived to be a Black overseer and snitch. If Black men were on code, a dude like Stephen A. Smith does not exist. As soon as he showed signs of being a sellout, a real-life version of a drop squad would have dealt with him accordingly. Unfortunately, Black men are not dealing with the sellouts among us nor are we punishing those who harm and murder our people. 1
umbrarchist Posted Tuesday at 06:49 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 06:49 PM Roland Martin is from her district. Oops! Does he know more than SAS?
Pioneer1 Posted Tuesday at 10:04 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:04 PM That rainbow hair-lined clown better leave my girl alone....lol. I like Rep. Crockett! Not only is she beautiful and very feminine, but she's VERY smart and articulate and knows how to get her point across. I don't agree with some of her political views. Especially with regard to immigration. But I agree with more of her views than less. They need to protect this beautiful sista. 1

He's got a $100 million contract with ESPN. His hairline is still social distancing from him. Sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the tide roll away. 3 hours ago, Pioneer1 said: They need to protect this beautiful sista. I heard she's been fitted for a bulletproof vest. No shortage of crazy azz white folks. Rest assured that even though Steven from Django, er, Stephen Ain't Sh8t talking smack about her, no Black person would do harm to our sista. She must be protected.

I call balls and strikes. In as much as I rail against the system of racism white supremacy, I'm hard on Black folks too especially Black men. There's a bunch of sh8t Black folks need to clean up around their own houses. Sellout n8gglets and menace to society n8gglets need to be dealt with too. They are counter-productive to Black folks breaking free of this system.

I don’t know a single brother who appreciates anything He is saying as it relates to politics. as far as Blackman are concerned Stephen needed to stay in his lane — sports. But again, he has been paid extremely well, not by Black people, but by white people. Those are the people he is beholden too and whose bidding he does. This is the American way. Don’t hate the player. Hate the game.

He gets paid to talk about sports. It is not cool for SAS to jump on hot mics throwing shade at Black people. He needs to stay in his lane. No amount of money should prevent SAS from getting chin-checked when he's out of pocket.
