I just hope the PETA folks and other animal lovers don't come after her with their pitchforks because she shot and killed a monkey on the loose.

In the event that someone breaks into the house and/or poses a threat of hurt, harm or danger to the family is reason enough to own a gun. 

 

Dangerous and/or rabid wildlife on the premises or near it is collateral damage to gun owners.

Well I don't believe "every" homeowner should have a gun, either...lol.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to have a damn KNIFE anywhere in their vicinity.
They can own a home....as long as they keep their ass in it and leave folks alone.....but as far as a deadly weapon; out of the question.

But I do believe most people should have that right.
Especially knowing that the police don't really have a duty to protect you.

Right now I can come up with 1 of 2 reasons:

1.  Perhaps the sista didn't want her image out there like that; especially with so many people who are sensitive to the treatment of animals.
They probably were harassing her online.

or

2. They didn't want the image of a Black woman being hailed as an example of a proud American who used deadly force to defend their family and property.
As far as many are concerned...that image is reserved for White men only.

I was thinking the same thing for half a second....lol....then it occurred to me that some people INHERIT their homes also.

He didn't have to do anything....but be born....and not die before she did.

There's a few people who are STILL in love with both Left Eye AND Aaliyah and play their songs religiously.
