Pioneer1 Posted Sunday at 06:09 PM Report Posted Sunday at 06:09 PM Government shutdown updates: USDA tells states to 'undo' issuing any SNAP benefits Government shutdown updates: USDA tells states to 'undo' issuing any SNAP benefits -How do you "undo" benefits that were issued out? Especially if they've been spent?
ProfD Posted Sunday at 10:43 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:43 PM Reads like states are being asked not to issue any benefits. It would be impossible to reclaim spent funds. They clearly want people to feel the pain of not being able to buy groceries. I'm slightly curious to see how much the system can bend before all h8ll breaks loose.

I think most of the people who voted for Trump do, also. They KNEW that his Administration would bring chaos and a disruption of the system, which is what they wanted in the first place. For various reasons.

D8mn shame that they get paid while not doing their jobs. Nevermind that most of them are already rich. Ridiculous. 1
richardmurray Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago @ProfD yeah The senate have confirmed so it is up to the house and the republican was made in the house so case closed. I do think the focus should be schumer's leadership. Regardless of what one thinks of the donkey's or elephants, schumer is supposed to be the leader of the donkeys in the senate and some broke ranks, technically only seven broke ranks. Angus King is an independent from maine, not a donkey. but Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Maggie Hassan, D-N.H. ,Dick Durbin of Illinois; John Fetterman of Pennsylvania are all northeasters while Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen of Nevada are not. https://aalbc.com/tc/events/event/584-the-shutdown-ends-potentially/
