Listen to Campbell's exec say its food is for ‘poor people’

Did it really happen?

is what he said true?

If so....should you consume it?

Should it be sold?

What does this say about the USDA is it doing its job?

All those Organization that represents Safety Efficacy and Truth or Facts do they have integrity or just out there for the money?

What does it say about bioengineered meat grown in a lab?

Does this mean that lab grown food is already in our food supply?

What about food with medication in it......vaccine?

Did it really happen?

Not sure, but I believe it did.

is what he said true?

Not sure, but I believe much of it is.
Or
atleast BASED in the truth that it's canned goods are made up of bioengineered products designed to be sold cheaply to whoever can afford it.

If so....should you consume it?

Honestly......if you HAVE to you HAVE to.
Most of us BEEN known that most of the canned goods like soup and spam and potted meat and even packaged foods like ramen noodles aren't the healthiest foods for us to eat.  But they're cheap and easy to prepare which makes them appealing to a large segment of the population.

Even back in the late 80s and 90s rappers like Ice Cube was rapping about canned goods being designed for poor people.

N.W.A. - Hip Hop Golden Age Hip Hop Golden Age

"Now you wanna fuck me
Horny little devil must be a F-A-G
Tryin to fuck me out my land and my manhood
Got  broke eating Spam and  canned goods"

Should it be sold?

As long as they are honest and upfront about exactly what's in it, then yes in my opinion.

What does this say about the USDA is it doing its job?

Not sure.
Because I don't know exactly what their job is.

What a person's "official" job is or what the public thinks they are there to do....and what they are ACTUALLY there to do is often 2 different things.

Take most local police officers for example.....
The public thinks the police are there to keep them safe.
But really the police are there to protect property, especially public property.

All those Organization that represents Safety Efficacy and Truth or Facts do they have integrity or just out there for the money?

Who knows?

What does it say about bioengineered meat grown in a lab?

Not sure.
Instinctively we would say it's not good for you BUT in actuality if it meets the body's requirements for protein and other nutrients without making you sick or disrupting your genes....it may be a viable alternative.
Seriously.

Many medications that keep people alive are technically "bioengineered" and "made in laboratories".
I don't think that alone makes it inherently bad.

What about food with medication in it......vaccine?

They BEEN medicating food!

How long have they been "enriching" children's cereals with vitamins and minerals?
How long have they been putting fluoride in the tooth paste?
How long have they been "fortifying" milk with vitamin D and A?

This isn't new....it's just being exposed and expanded.

The downside to not growing producing and our own food.

We're at the mercy of whoever controls the food supply.

The government is only going to regulate the industries up to a point.

For those who are religious...pray over everything you eat. I've heard prayer changes things.😁😎

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad for decades has warned us that we should be growing our own food and raising the animals we eat for meat.

He was saying this back in the 40s and 50s when even most White folks were on that "meat and potatoes" and "steak every day" hype.
Most of our people didn't listen.
But a lot of White folks did....and now a lot of them are vegan and vegetarian and trying to be organic...lol.

Neely Fuller Jr. warned us that much of the food we're eating is "plastic" food, also.

Right. Black farmers decreased instead of increased fdom that time forward.

Generations of Black folks have been raised consuming food that is produced by others. Processed foods are even worse.

Many Americans are vegetarian or vegan but the vast majoirty of us are carnivores.

Admittedly, I could be a pescatarian if it wasn't for that barn yard pimp...chicken.🤣

While NF Jr. lived into his 90s, I'm willing to bet he didn't grow his own food and he bought it from the grocery store instead of farmer's markets.😎

You know what.....
I'm not sure how healthy his diet was, but from time to time callers would call in questioning him about it and were curious as to what he ate.
I know I was, especially if a man lives to be in his 80s and 90s and remained as sharp as Mr. Fuller.

He said he never smoked or drank alcohol.
And he said he ate a lot of beans.
He's by some sort of beans and put vegetables and I think he said meat in them sometimes, but a lot of beans.

I heard the same thing. No smoking or drinking and plenty beans for NF Jr.

Oftentimes, beans include turkey, pork or beef.

Beans are a excellent source of protein and fiber. Along with veggies that is a healthy diet.😎

I'm curious as to what KIND of beans did Mr. Fuller eat.
The Nation of Islam teaches hard on the Navy Bean and how nutritious it is and how it increases longevity.
Judging by some of Mr. Fuller's interviews, he was clearly influenced....to a certain degree....by members of the Nation of Islam if not by the teachings of the Nation of Islam itself.

I wonder was it Navy Beans that he ate?

I also wonder is his "care mate" (wife) still living?
If so, I'd like to hear how she's doing and just see her.

I also wonder why @frankster started this thread and ain't brought his ass back to it since, lol.

Considering his age, I would guess it was navy beans. Of course, we also had kidney beans, pinto beans, northern beans, black-eyed peas, etc.

Reminds me of Bubba naming shrimp in the Forrest Gump movie.🤣

*Care mate* makes more sense than *significant other* or *old lady* especially when a couple is over 80 years old.😁

Hey @frankster on that YouTube video you shared. What information was you attempting to relate? Was it that Kentucky Fried chicken stop selling chicken in 1991 and had to change their name to KFC? Is that what you were telling us?

frankster

I remember a while back when they changed the signs to KFC.
A few people said the same thing.
That they had to stop calling it "Kentucky Fried Chicken" sense they were no longer selling actual chicken, lol.

I'm not sure how true this is.
I believe they ARE selling false meat and genetically modified chicken and other foods, but I'm not sure if that's the reason they changed the signs.

KFC sounds a bit more "hip".
I wouldn't be surprised if McDonalds eventually changed there name to "MickyD's" in the near future....lol.

🤔  When I was a kid, when I heard the name "Colonel Sanders".....I wondered with him being from Kentucky -which army was he a "colonel" in and in which war did he fight?
Was he trying to glorify the Confederate military with that title?

Harlan Sanders was never in the military.  He was actually from Indiana.

As a successful pitch man and businessman, Sanders inherited the Colonel title.

Kentucky Fried Chicken aka KFC just happened to be his ticket to fame and fortune.😎

I know all of that now.
Except for the being from Indiana part....lol.

However even as an adult, I've often wondered was Sanders a Confederacy sympathizer and used that persona to not just promote his product but to endear people to the Confederate past.
Kind of like the Dukes Of Hazzard television show and how they would incorporate the Confederate flag and named their car the "General Lee".

KFC is just a rebranding thing many copies of done this UPS, CVS, AALBC, etc.

KFC may be selling hormone infused, genetically modified, frankenchickens, but I'm sure it is still "chicken."

I don't eat not because I don't think it is chicken, it just does not taste as good as it used to -- virtually every other chicken including any ghetto chicken takeout joint is better than KFC.

it was Click bait...mostly

No....I am not saying that - who ever voiced it seemed to be saying so

I am just sharing his opinion as it seems to be more and more relavant....given the Campbell Soup Incident.

What I am saying is that our food is already full of GMO Lab Grown meat and Aborted Human Fetal strains as additives

Same here.  I've got several chicken spots that I would hit before I pull into a KFC.

Also, while other chicken parts look suspect at KFC, wings cannot be faked...yet.😁😎

Can be excellent too, but inconsistent -- location matters.  The one on Canal street in NOLA is the bomb the one around the corner from me sucks.

Speaking wings, why is Wing Stop so damn expensive?!    My wings are far better than there's shoot, I might make some tonight!

"Gimme five...."

If you wanted to treat ME back in the 70s, 80s, or 90s....just take me to a Church's Chicken and buy me some of that greasy ass chicken, a couple corn on the cobs, and a back of their, jalapeno peppers.
I'll shovel snow, cut grass, rake leaves, beat somebody up....lol....whatever you needed....lol.

I was never a huge fan of Church's chicken back in the day.  I preferred Bojangles.  Roy Rogers was decent too.

We had a place called Holly Farms that was better than all of them. Their potato wedges were the bomb.

As  Minnie Riperton sang...y'all done took me back down memory lane.🤣😎

I hadn't even HEARD of Bojangles until I moved down South...lol.

When I first saw one....I got offended!  WTF????
....but I stopped and went in anyway, lol.

All it took was ONE of those biscuits with some jelly on it and it was OVER jack!

I forgot all about them. In fact, I would go to the least two or three times a month when I worked on Wall Street.
