Senator Booker Gets Married

Senator Cory Booker has traded his bachelor card for a wedding ring.

 

Senator Booker married Alexis Lewis after a couple months of dating.

 

Years ago,  while running for democratic nominee for POTUS, Senator Booker was supposedly dating Rosario Dawson.

 

Senator Booker dropped out of the race for POTUS  and dumped Ms. Dawson shortly afterwards. He has not been linked to another woman. 

 

Fast-forward to this past weekend and all of a sudden, he's married now. Even in his wedding pics something isn't right about him. He's holding her hand like they're acting.

 

 

 

I still believe this fella is ghey right along with Senator Lindsey 'Ms. Thing' Graham. 

 

I have zero proof or insider knowledge of how these cats roll.

 

 

 

However, I would not be surprised if we find out they have lifetime memberships at the Blue Oyster.

Well, the stunt he pulled this past weekend could nullify that claim. 

 

However, since I believe the marriage is a front, the jury is still out.  Not that it makes a difference one way or another. 

 

Higher political aspirations seem to require a different look.

 

The last bachelor POTUS was James Buchanan.  There were questions about him too.

I don't know about him being gay, but I definitely don't think he WANTS to be married.
I think this is just cosplaying.
He's trying to portray himself as  a "family man" the others can relate to, or atleast a man who kicks it with the ladies.
 

He's making this move for a future Presidency bid.

I would support the Black man as an elected official who actually puts forth an effort through policy and legislation to create pathways to generational wealth for Black folks.

Not just politicians. There's no shortage of Black men in our history who have done great things in terms of our progress. 

 

Again, maybe AfroAmericans are so far removed from our history and having been rudderless for 50 years and counting...it makes sense that our people are *here* now. Every man and woman out for self.

I'm sure they are on the same page when it comes to many things. and if his running for president is one of these things,  then...more power to them!

 

I'm surprised that 2 "female aficionados" like you and pioneer seem so intimidated about the age difference between Cory and Alexis. (No wonder Pioneer gravitates toward 80 year old women; guess that's all he can handle.)

 

BTW, historians give Obama's presidency high marks. And we don't know what Jeffries is doing behind the scenes. He may be layin back in the cut,  power brokering.

Still, soulmate usually isn't the reason people with a decade or more age difference between connect with each other. It's normally a physical and/or financial  incentive.

Sure. After 2 months of dating, they have made a business decision. Remains to be seen how it works out.

@ProfD'Guess we have to agree to disagree. Nothing monumental about that.  I do, however, admit to not only being surprised that you would so vigorously question Cory Booker's sexuality based on nothing but your suspicions, but that you are so revolted by the idea of him actually being gay, as if this is a crime. You are usually more rational in your emotions. And more tolerant.

The same goes for your fixation on reparations as it relates to your scorn toward Hakeem Jeffries for not expending enough energy in the pursuit of what is  virtually an impossible dream and an issue his constituency is not losing any sleep over.

You are usually more pragmatic in your expectations. (I could see you chuckling and dismissing a demand from, say, white descendants of Union soldiers killed during the war against slavery, demanding reparations. ) Yes, I know. white skin entitlement is their reward.
