Jordan's $275 million dollar investment turned into $3 billion dollars when he sold his majority stake. He still has a minority ownership in the team. Magic Johnson is a minority owner of the Washington Commanders NFL team. A few Black folks do invest in sports teams. I'm hoping to see a Black investment group start a sports league &/or own a major league team. Ice Cube has a nice situation with his Big 3 basketball league. There are possibilities. 1

Same reason very few white female millionaires & billionaires have high profile sports investments. Men enjoy sports more than women do. Fortunes are built on inheritances, products, goods & services. Entertainment is further down the line. 1
