Although the truth is available there are 2 important facts to remember when it comes to people being properly informed:

1. Much of the TRUTH on the internet is surrounded by a lot of lies, misinformation, and disinformation.

If you don't know what to look for or where to look for it, you'll waste a lot of valuable time and energy spending years looking for something you could have found in minutes with the proper guidance.

Which brings me to my second point....

2. One of the reasons they start educating humans early as little children is because you have to be properly GUIDED and DISCIPLINED into learning, and the earlier the better.

There may be 20,000 pages worth of real information on a given subject but you aren't able to access it through Google or Bing.

You Google it and ofcourse you'll get a billion links.....to redundant bullshit.
Many of the links you get are to the same pages over and over and over again.

You have to punch in a series of secretive words and symbols or specific links directly into your browser to pull them up.

@Troy probably could verify this but I wouldn't be surprised if they had SPECIAL computers not available to the public that could access parts of the internet that regular computers like Dell or Mac and others couldn't.

How would people benefit from believing in such things?

2 major ways:

1. It helps them solve their problems

2. Even if it doesn't solve their problems immediately, it gives them HOPE that their problems will be solved.

Let's say a person has the knowledge to physically live for hundreds of years......

That means they know how to regenerate the physical tissues of their body.

This knowledge would help the person with debilitating diseases to heal their own bodies or give them hope of it.

Zombies could benefit SOME human beings the same way clones and robots do, by providing a labor force.

In my opinion, trapping spirits in bottles has little benefit outside of punitive measures for individuals who committed egregious offenses.

But the knowledge of it is still appreciated.

I would replace the words "ridiculous" and "absurd" with LIES and FALSEHOOD.
